haha yes totally
― k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 15:43 (ten years ago)
What a horrible pass too. Floating up towards the opponents basket. He had like 3 options he coulda hit before that. WHY WOULD YOU TRUST WAITERS TO BE THE INBOUNDER?. Billy D is bad.
― Spottie, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 15:47 (ten years ago)
pretty sure it'd been 5 seconds too by the time he passed
― ciderpress, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 16:04 (ten years ago)
i was thinking about the decision to have waiters inbound and wanted to hate it but then i thought -- what were their other options? randy foye? andre roberson?
― k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 16:07 (ten years ago)
not a lot of great passers on that team outside the big two
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 16:20 (ten years ago)
Then have one of them do it. Or ibaka.
― Spottie, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 16:22 (ten years ago)
nick collison?
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 16:34 (ten years ago)
exactly
― k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 16:35 (ten years ago)
waiters is really dumb tho, lol id much rather have collision passing it in
― Spottie, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 16:44 (ten years ago)
lance vibes otm, they belong together
they didnt want kd or russ to inbound cause they needed them to shoot the fts, collison wldve been good tho

hadn't really noticed how Steven Adams basically guarded everyone on that play
― Spottie, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 18:47 (ten years ago)
waiters has some Forrest Gump greenscreened into history ish goin on imo
― Clay, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 20:03 (ten years ago)
official 2-min report sez 5 incorrect non-calls. 5 in 13.5 seconds! goddamn.

really glad they just let it all go tbf.
― Spottie, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 20:28 (ten years ago)
sam esfandiari@samesfandiariSo far Harry B is 3rd in playoff minutes. Last in playoff PER (7.4), 13/14th in TS% (41.1%).
wondering if they should just bring Bazemore back or sign Allen Crabbe instead of wasting money on barnes
― Spottie, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 20:36 (ten years ago)

still have no idea what harrison barnes actually does
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 20:44 (ten years ago)
plays solid D. used to hit an open J. cuts to the hoop for a crazy dunk about twice a year.

incredible
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:12 (ten years ago)
barnes best thing seems to be defensive versatility
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:13 (ten years ago)
durant will be a decent upgrade on barnes
― k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:16 (ten years ago)
lmao curry thompson iggy durant draymond, try scoring on or stopping that lineup
― k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:17 (ten years ago)
kd going to the dubs wld be genuinely apocalyptic like i def cldnt look away but itd be terrifying and at the end everyone dies
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:19 (ten years ago)
would be super weird.
― Spottie, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:21 (ten years ago)
it would be ridiculous
― marcos, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:23 (ten years ago)
anyways i don't think kd is going to gsw
― marcos, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:24 (ten years ago)
i think it would have been written in stone had they lost last night's game but now i'm not so sure
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:25 (ten years ago)
theyve got as good a shot as anyone outside of OKC imo
― Spottie, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:25 (ten years ago)
idk there are lessons to be learned from "the decision" but i guess those lessons are conflicting. you might get bad press and criticism for a corny ring-chasing move but you will also get rings. maybe he would be viewed differently though, he is just a more chill and low-key persona than lebron and okc is not his hometown the way cleveland/akron is for lebron so the drama is reduced
― marcos, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:32 (ten years ago)
he wld def pick up some haters cld be offset by the benefits of being on the first undefeated team tho
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:33 (ten years ago)
i think the "decision" parallels are overblown. KD is not at the same level of stardom or popularity as lebron was in 2009. and he's not gonna do a TV special
― k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:51 (ten years ago)
and he learned from it, and no one outside of OKC (which contains no one) cares if he leaves.
― Spottie, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:53 (ten years ago)
ppl will def be mad, good chance professional sports yellers work themselves into a froth over it
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:53 (ten years ago)
kd soft, kd cldnt win one on his own, kd not alpha etc
yeah he'll get some hate for sure, but it'll be from the same dorky local fans who have bad sports opinions on everything. and winning 3 straight titles will soften the blow a bit i'd think
― k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:57 (ten years ago)
i just don't see how they make the money work once Steph has to get paid
― Spottie, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:58 (ten years ago)
cap is going up to like 110M in a couple of years iirc
― k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 21:59 (ten years ago)
if they want it to happen it can happen
lebron was a 1 in a million situation
i also think him going to the heat made it ok for stars to switch teams, nobody has cared about that happening since then
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 22:02 (ten years ago)
by the time steph needs to get paid iggy & bogut will be off the books right? i think people have written about how their contract situation is uniquely structured so that they can give out big contracts in the coming years w/o any one year being partic overburdened

― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 22:04 (ten years ago)
klay and dray are gonna be making 18 and 16.5 million in 2018, LOL. give curry and durant 30 apiece and they have like 16 million left over for other dudes
― k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 22:04 (ten years ago)
think about how good dray is and then realize he's gonna be making less than 15% of the cap in 4 years
guys like wilbon will always be like Jordan Won On His Own (he didn't) and Players Used To Hate Each Other (kinda? but also like... the dream team happened?) and Now These Guys Wanna Team Up Like A Bunch Of Millennials (?) but like idk those dudes will be dead soon whatever
― Clay, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 22:06 (ten years ago)
feel like its not nothing and an unstoppable dubs machine will alienate some ppl, it just seems unfair, but also they wld be hella legendary and tons of non basketball fan wld prob jump on that bandwagon
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 22:09 (ten years ago)
i wld prob route against them which wld be so futile lol
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 22:10 (ten years ago)
i dunno if maintaining curry klay durant draymond is feasible even with the new cap, they could have it for a year or 2 maybe
― ciderpress, Tuesday, 3 May 2016 22:10 (ten years ago)
http://hoopshype.com/salaries/golden_state_warriors/
they could definitely do it until 2019, by which time KD and steph are in their 30s anyway
― k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 May 2016 22:11 (ten years ago)
