every time i feel like i can stop hearing about dion waiters he just forces himself into the general NBA conversation, i gotta give him credit really

Pretty amazing for a guy whose destiny is probably averaging 30 a game in China two years from now

feel like refs often let a lot go on the final play but then the players srsly pushed the envelope and the refs got shook like once u dont call the waiters move then what do u call

xp exactly! like by virtue of his limited skill set he should already be there! yet here he is, the deciding factor in a win for an elite team with a chance at the WCF and beyond

I mean waiters elbowing Manu from out of bounds...I've literally never seen anything like that before. Occasionally you'll see the inbounder's arms make contact with the defender if the defender is too close and the inbounder is swinging back and forth looking for a pass...but he just deliberately elbowed Manu to clear space? Who is even comes up with that? Waiters is bizarre

What a horrible pass too. Floating up towards the opponents basket. He had like 3 options he coulda hit before that. WHY WOULD YOU TRUST WAITERS TO BE THE INBOUNDER?. Billy D is bad.

idk there are lessons to be learned from "the decision" but i guess those lessons are conflicting. you might get bad press and criticism for a corny ring-chasing move but you will also get rings. maybe he would be viewed differently though, he is just a more chill and low-key persona than lebron and okc is not his hometown the way cleveland/akron is for lebron so the drama is reduced

he wld def pick up some haters cld be offset by the benefits of being on the first undefeated team tho

i think the "decision" parallels are overblown. KD is not at the same level of stardom or popularity as lebron was in 2009. and he's not gonna do a TV special
