i know its a 2-3 seed matchup but these teams are not close. there are 12 wins between them in the reg season. there are 14 wins between okc and the 8th seed this year.

spurs have one of the best defenses in modern nba history and they have two stud defenders to hound westbrook and durant and the length to manage ibaka. okc doesnt have a good defense and their outside shooting is not good enough. theyre going to be exposed in this series. they might win two in okc if theyre hungry. but they looked dysfunctional in dallas, even in victory.

ya i didnt think the series wld be close before it started and now i really dont think so, thunder are unsound! very unsound!

2014 was close bc durant was peak mvp durant, ibaka was rolling, kawhi was still emerging offensively. that was a close series. okc has gotten worse and the spurs have gotten better. pop still pop.

okc is perpetually overrated, like everyone says you always have a chance with two of the best ten players in the league and that's not wrong, but odds are every year they're going to run into a much more complete team.

ilh consensus was that brooks was not a good x's and o's guy but a good locker room, team huddle guy for morale. and that just isnt there.

It's funny because for about three minutes it looked like it was gonna be the kawhi game for the ages and then lma went all kali maaaa and ripped billy donovan's heart straight out

I mean everyone overreacts to games 1 & 2 a little bit but this was such an utter domination that it is hard to imagine okc handling two games as home to make it a decently competitive series without some serious pop-level adjustments
