I wish I never read that article about lacob. Now
I have to hate the owner that helped bring the dubs a championship

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 06:52 (ten years ago)

He's such a goon

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 06:52 (ten years ago)

Really sucks about CP man. What's the word? Fracture like Kobe fracture he'll play through it? Or like can't play?

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 06:54 (ten years ago)

Blake looked really Hobbled as well after that J he took in the 4th. Quad soreness is no joke

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 06:56 (ten years ago)

Never mind got answers about cp. Kenny said he had that and was out 4-6 weeks. Cp in cast walking out. :/

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 07:19 (ten years ago)

yeah if he and Blake are out for game 5 and reddik is still hobbled the clips are looking at a possible down 3-2 w/o cp situation going to moda for game 6 and uhhh

Clay, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 07:27 (ten years ago)

bradley batum steph cp3 all out. Blake and whiteside playing hurt.

wow.....

moullet, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 12:29 (ten years ago)

it's too bad, i'd prefer to see the clips go down in flames closer to full strength

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 12:58 (ten years ago)

this sucks the celtics cant beat the spurs or okc

ciderpress, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 14:11 (ten years ago)

all nba players will be dead or in critical condition by then

lag∞n, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 14:25 (ten years ago)

celtics win by default as they have the strongest prior for championships

ciderpress, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 14:28 (ten years ago)

i hope bron is juicing kyrie & love the bron way

moullet, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 16:14 (ten years ago)

this OKC/SAS matchup is gonna be a blast

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 16:42 (ten years ago)

ya interesting dynamic between chaotic talent and professional mastery, spurs will win easily tho prob behind westbrook shooting 38%

lag∞n, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 16:59 (ten years ago)

brother brad a legend in his own time http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/15356168/brad-stevens-next-superstar-head-coach

Kerr COY

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:23 (ten years ago)

weird

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:25 (ten years ago)

Stotts pretty close behind

TS: winning more games than God because you have the all-world MVP and a ton of great talent vs. taking a team without one all-star that was picked to win fewer than 28 games to a #5 seed in the western conference

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:33 (ten years ago)

winning 73 games trumps all other coaching accolades. i'm sure that was the thought process.

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:39 (ten years ago)

yea it was the 73 that did it

marcos, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:40 (ten years ago)

they won all the games im cool w them getting all the awards only thing thats slightly weird is kerr didnt actually coach half of them

lag∞n, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:41 (ten years ago)

did he really win 73 games though...think about it

ciderpress, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:41 (ten years ago)

yes, all of them

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:44 (ten years ago)

the amazing thing is that stotts got a total of 111 votes within the top three spots, but kerr only got 89 'top three' votes, pops got 62, and it tails off rapidly after that

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:52 (ten years ago)

they won all the games im cool w them getting all the awards only thing thats slightly weird is kerr didnt actually coach half of them

yeah this - Stotts totally deserves it but I'm not gonna make that argument

frogbs, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:54 (ten years ago)

also lol dwane casey over brad stevens

Spottie, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:54 (ten years ago)

its ok brad will get it next year

ciderpress, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:56 (ten years ago)

durant might help him get it yeah

Spottie, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:57 (ten years ago)

what did dwane casey do this year exactly?

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 17:59 (ten years ago)

There's an apocryphal story that before the battle of Salamis the eleven Greek commanders cast votes for who'd be the overall commander in charge. When the ballots were counted all the commanders had voted themselves the top spot, but all the second place votes went to Themistocles. Congratulations, Mr. Stotts.

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 18:03 (ten years ago)

the raptors had a very good year and aside from lowry it's not like that roster is overwhelmingly talented

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 26 April 2016 18:06 (ten years ago)

id have voted for pop

nomar, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 18:06 (ten years ago)

i would have voted for stotts

prob also would have voted for guys like joeger, bud & spo who had to radically alter their teams and/or style of play like halfway thru the season

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 26 April 2016 18:08 (ten years ago)

spoelstra did an amazing job

nomar, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 18:10 (ten years ago)

pretty good roster imo besides the glaring weak spot at PF

Spottie, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 18:17 (ten years ago)

they went into the season with a shot to be the second-best team in the east. def met expectations but seems like a weird placement.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 18:30 (ten years ago)

billy donovan got a vote, lol

k3vin k., Tuesday, 26 April 2016 18:35 (ten years ago)

yeah aside from lowry i think the raptors are a collection of pretty nice players, and one of them (carroll) was out for most of the year. i coulnd't point to exactly what casey has done there (and frankly i think they'll prob end up finding someone else to push them up another level) but i don't think there was anything preordained about them winning 56 games and challenging for the 1 seed.

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 26 April 2016 19:04 (ten years ago)

yeah feels like they more or less met expectations whereas portland and to a lesser extent charlotte and boston exceeded them if you're gonna vote for someone with a second tier team

ciderpress, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 19:07 (ten years ago)

i mean i personally in my fake nba ballot would not have voted for dwayne casey but i don't begrudge him getting votes in the actual ballot

i do agree w/ you about those midtier coaches

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 26 April 2016 19:08 (ten years ago)

there should be a special coaching award for the playoffs since so many of them get exposed

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 26 April 2016 19:08 (ten years ago)

i honestly feel like pop deserves it every year. he had that team humming so quickly where I thought it would take at LEAST half the season to figure ut.

Spottie, Tuesday, 26 April 2016 19:09 (ten years ago)

popovich gets all the respect he deserves and if COY came down to a lifetime achievement award he'd sweep the voting every year, but it's fair to allow other coaches a decent shot at recognition, too

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Tuesday, 26 April 2016 19:20 (ten years ago)

dammit durant is going to the spurs next year isn't he
