this promo prompts me to imagine simmons saying "I like soup" in the voice of ralph wiggum

like, i get it when there's really nothing left for him to do other than have a tv show but he's so bad on camera

he cld still be an extremely popular writer but he doesnt want to i guess

which i mean sure who wldnt rather be on tv but like if thats not really what youre good at

but on the other hand hbo seems to have no problem carrying cheap studio sports shows that no one watches for years so its prob perfect for him

fwiw, haven't listened to the podcast in weeks.

why does everybody keep assuming the ringer needs to generate profit? honestly, that should be the least of their concerns for the foreseeable future. the entire point of vc is to grow your market (or audience).

they're still hiring like drunken sailors so i tend to agree.

i've been off the pod mostly due to the non-sports guests but the one he did with travon free was great, that guy is pretty engaging.
