i don't think jet and brewer were really the scrap heap per se, those were established nba players who may/may not have been cooked

i feel for harden, it's really hard to be that good night in night out

call all destroyer, Thursday, 28 May 2015 03:59 (eleven years ago)

steve kerr seems so cool, i wish he were my friend

call all destroyer, Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:02 (eleven years ago)

steve kerr's story is pretty incredible. key player on championship teams, helped put together a team that permanently altered the game, became one of the best broadcasters in the nba and then became a coach and made the finals in his first year

J0rdan S., Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:04 (eleven years ago)

naw he came in at the end of the suns run

lag∞n, Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:05 (eleven years ago)

kerr was dope in college also

polyphonic, Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:06 (eleven years ago)

he was the official GM at the end but he helped out the front office before im pretty sure

regardless

J0rdan S., Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:06 (eleven years ago)

kerr was generally panned as a gm iirc

Clay, Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:08 (eleven years ago)

like i think he's pretty much admitted he was bad at it

Clay, Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:08 (eleven years ago)

lag∞n, Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:14 (eleven years ago)

the shaq thing was just so huge it's v hard to judge appropriately

call all destroyer, Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:14 (eleven years ago)

riley curry is a star

Clay, Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:18 (eleven years ago)

Kerr had to do some horrible things under financial pressure from Sarver.

David Griffin and D'Antoni probably deserve the most credit for building the Suns.

Steph Curry will become 1st player NBA history to face each of other 4 members of 1st-team All-NBA in same playoffs.

this is totally crazy to me btw

Clay, Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:51 (eleven years ago)

not that it's the first time but that it could plausibly even happen and it did

Clay, Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:51 (eleven years ago)

its cool cause hes the mvp too

lag∞n, Thursday, 28 May 2015 04:52 (eleven years ago)

#Warriors say Klay Thompson began to show concussion-like symptoms after the game, after not showing any when originally hit in the head.

lag∞n, Thursday, 28 May 2015 05:16 (eleven years ago)

Got popped in the jaw and said he was dizzy. I bet he's concussed. Lucky there's like 2 months til the next game

Spottie, Thursday, 28 May 2015 05:17 (eleven years ago)

going to be sweet to see the two best players in the game (curry & dellavedova) playing each other

Cavs in three (Warriors say No Más before game four)

Sometime after klay got rocked by Ariza's knee, mjax mixed it up and said something like "you wouldn't know this from outside but after green, curry and Thompson are the toughest guys on the team"

Like he was ready to grab a sandwich board with I USED TO COACH THIS TEAM REMEMBER written on it and parade around oracle

This is the wildest thing also because it requires exactly one (1) player from the opposite conference to be on the first team, then also make the finals

juice college (agent hibachi), Thursday, 28 May 2015 19:20 (eleven years ago)

nah all 4 could be on the team he plays in the first round

k3vin k., Thursday, 28 May 2015 19:39 (eleven years ago)

I was thinking Bird would have done this, but it looks Bernard King screwed it up for him in '85.

One bad call from barely losing to (Alex in SF), Thursday, 28 May 2015 19:51 (eleven years ago)

Also fact that they lost championship that year probably didn't help.

given how much a team's performance is tied to superstar players, I'm surprised it hasn't happened before - though the fact that Curry is getting exactly one per round and (most likely) beating them all really is something cool
