James harden was in v-live last night with drake for #haw nah no excuses this ass whopping just being given to him

tsrobodo, Sunday, 24 May 2015 03:33 (eleven years ago)

I don't think the Cavs will sweep but the idea of 3 more games between now and then is depressing

tsrobodo, Sunday, 24 May 2015 03:34 (eleven years ago)

clips would've at least won a game or two, shame on Houston for winning that series and depriving us of a draymond / barnes brawl

Clay, Sunday, 24 May 2015 03:40 (eleven years ago)

spurs woulda made this a series, bet

hope dubs sweep bron

Clay, Sunday, 24 May 2015 03:44 (eleven years ago)

you ain't alone

balls, Sunday, 24 May 2015 03:44 (eleven years ago)

warriors sweeping rest of the way to the chip would put them as a top 3 team of all time, right? 96 bulls, 72 lakers, 15 warriors

not a garbageman, i am garbage, man (m bison), Sunday, 24 May 2015 03:45 (eleven years ago)

i don't know if any of y'all talked about that huge 538 thing but by their calculations these warriors are one of the greatest teams of all time and i concur

balls, Sunday, 24 May 2015 03:46 (eleven years ago)

they had that second 3-peat bulls as better than the first but i always thought that first 3-peat bulls team was actually a little better, there just wasn't as much of a gap between them and everybody else as w/ the later team. 548 has these warriors 4th all time behind 96 bulls, 97 bulls, and 86 celtics. having 86 celtics only third felt kinda like a back stabbing move against simmons imo.

balls, Sunday, 24 May 2015 03:49 (eleven years ago)

like at this point ive gotta think...who's gonna knock gsw off the next few years? like we thought the west was competitive....its not rly that competitive! gsw shittin on everyone, and a lot of crowding at 2-6

not a garbageman, i am garbage, man (m bison), Sunday, 24 May 2015 03:51 (eleven years ago)

they also had this crazy break down game by game thru franchise history so eg the best the atlanta hawks have ever been was at the end of january this year but the best they've ever been in terms of a season or whatever was the 87 hawks iirc

Stephen Curry has hit five or more three-pointers in five consecutive playoffs games. No other player in NBA history has done that.

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 24 May 2015 06:08 (eleven years ago)

it looks like Curry will be the greatest 3 point shooter of all time.

Hey cool they put it together for four quarters! Klay still can't shoot for some reason.

Spottie, Sunday, 24 May 2015 06:28 (eleven years ago)

So good.

Spottie, Sunday, 24 May 2015 06:33 (eleven years ago)

shoulda dropped that in 100 basketball photos thread actually

Clay, Sunday, 24 May 2015 06:55 (eleven years ago)

The little three hand in the bottom left corner

Spottie, Sunday, 24 May 2015 07:35 (eleven years ago)

That bald guy up front kept yelling MOVE! MOVE! at Steph who just laid in repose after his kill.

Bet this was last night...
Bald dude wife: why didn't he move
Bald dude: I'm a vice president of fracking ops at Halliburton. I've literally stabbed employees when they don't day good morning to me
Bdw: why didn't he move, Stanley??
Bald dude: you think the price of admission still means something these days but not with this generation. It's almost like you fork over your football gambling money for Courtside so YOU can entertain THEM
Bdw: I still don't understand--
Bd: SHUT THE FUCK UP PHYLLIS

i think bc the finals are nat'l tv and they want that schedule locked further in advance so its set for possible game 7s, also way more media inc international attends the finals so they have to plan further out

i mean i dont see anyone bumping them off the presumptive top spot in the west rn but remember shit changes fast remember we all thought the spurs would gently tumble down the standings then they went to the finals twice more, the 09-10 lakers looked like a lock to be in the mix a few more years then imploded, sometimes teams randomly get better, who knows

i wouldnt bet against a good couple year run for gsw tho, my pick to compete would be new orleans if they could make a few trades except they have zero assets whoops

juice college (agent hibachi), Sunday, 24 May 2015 14:23 (eleven years ago)

yea not without a real solid new coach and some additional depth, and idk how much they could add

slothroprhymes, Sunday, 24 May 2015 16:27 (eleven years ago)

if the grizz figure out that more than three people on the team need to be able to shoot threes they could become more than just a perennial playoff team and enter finals contention imo

slothroprhymes, Sunday, 24 May 2015 16:28 (eleven years ago)

the wild card is the salary cap jump

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 May 2015 16:29 (eleven years ago)

as far as the dubs future boguts health is always looming too

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 May 2015 16:30 (eleven years ago)

theres a chance they cld win w/o him but they become much more ordinary def

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 May 2015 16:31 (eleven years ago)

yea true if he has some early season-ending injury, which is always possible given his history, do you use ezeli as a starting center or try to start every game w the small-ball lineup that puts draymond at 5? they sure as hell don't win 67 games like that but more importantly you don't win 16 playoff games like that most likely

slothroprhymes, Sunday, 24 May 2015 16:43 (eleven years ago)

guys the thunder are gonna be really good next year too

k3vin k., Sunday, 24 May 2015 16:46 (eleven years ago)

clippers, cavs, thunder, blazers, Spurs, grizzlies should all be elite teams next year, barring major roster shake-ups. the dubs ARE an all-time great team but they did get a little lucky with injuries to the competition, let's not forget

k3vin k., Sunday, 24 May 2015 16:48 (eleven years ago)

I feel like Memphis could just as easily become Dallas (8th seed that wld probably be a top 3 east team) as become a real title contender unless they really get clever in revamping that team around Conley and Gasol

juice college (agent hibachi), Sunday, 24 May 2015 17:21 (eleven years ago)

I would swap the rockets in for the blazers there if only bc of the aldridge uncertainty and the wes injury issue

slothroprhymes, Sunday, 24 May 2015 17:22 (eleven years ago)

Yeah I was thinking about this and someone, not sure who, is gonna play all their cards perfectly and go from fringe to superpower or basement to competitive in one summer

juice college (agent hibachi), Sunday, 24 May 2015 17:24 (eleven years ago)

grizz-wise I think they don't have a choice but to do what you're suggesting, hibachi, bc randolph ain't gettin any younger and idk how sustainable that style is with him at 34 and 35 (he's 33 now)

slothroprhymes, Sunday, 24 May 2015 17:26 (eleven years ago)

I sort of get what people are driving at in that there's seemingly a window here with the spurs declining (?) and Durant dealing with foot issues, but the Warriors themselves aren't some unstoppable juggernaut and teams could definitely catch up. They've got an amazing superstar, a great second banana and great role players. It's a recipe for winning titles but if, for example, Bogut got injured it would make a huge difference.

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 24 May 2015 18:59 (eleven years ago)

hawks look like the hawks

for now

slothroprhymes, Monday, 25 May 2015 00:41 (eleven years ago)

bron is 0/10 from the field - hasn't shot this poorly since a 2007 cavs finals game

slothroprhymes, Monday, 25 May 2015 01:13 (eleven years ago)

(in the playoffs at least)

slothroprhymes, Monday, 25 May 2015 01:14 (eleven years ago)

dellevadova stay baiting ppl into rage moves

slothroprhymes, Monday, 25 May 2015 01:32 (eleven years ago)

This is a super good series.

Allen (etaeoe), Monday, 25 May 2015 01:40 (eleven years ago)

And by super good I mean it's totally balls.

Allen (etaeoe), Monday, 25 May 2015 01:40 (eleven years ago)

my whole thing going in has been avoid humiliation, use this to evaluate what moves need to be made to get us to the next stage, maybe score a token victory or two dare to dream

balls, Monday, 25 May 2015 01:43 (eleven years ago)

it was an ok series in the first game trash in the 2nd good in this first Q then ass terrible in the 2nd

slothroprhymes, Monday, 25 May 2015 01:46 (eleven years ago)

fair summary

Allen (etaeoe), Monday, 25 May 2015 01:50 (eleven years ago)

dellavedova is super dirty. can't believe this is even a debate.

Allen (etaeoe), Monday, 25 May 2015 01:51 (eleven years ago)

yeah I mean if I'm him and I know that's my primary skill set - baiting people into aggression plays - I'm gonna use it but I don't think he has that much self awareness and is just completely a little shit

slothroprhymes, Monday, 25 May 2015 01:53 (eleven years ago)

if dellavedova knew that i was judging the entire australian people based on his actions maybe he wouldn't be so quick to be a piece of dogshit

Clay, Monday, 25 May 2015 01:55 (eleven years ago)

pretty fair with calling it a trash nation that has produced a few cool things/people like nick cave and andrew bogut

slothroprhymes, Monday, 25 May 2015 02:06 (eleven years ago)

*pretty cool

oh and I guess guy pearce too? lol
