he had a pretty bad game for his standards but mostly due to dumb fouls. he isn't asked to do too much and he doesnt make sense to play if dwight is out in and he was out most of the game. he did set some good screens to get curry going tho. david lee is cooked tho.

perhaps he was but I feel like Kerr being brilliant makes him look garbagey in comparison when objectively he's prob a shade above "average" as a coach.
btw if he comes to Chicago I for real will not follow the team ugh don't talk like that guys.

seems like Bulls go out of their way to get players that won't make waves, can't imagine they'd hire a coach who has the rep as a wave-maker.

idk jackson dubs had the lowest assist rate in the league with three elite passers in the starting 5, he regularly rolled out bench lineups w/no starters heavily featuring barnes isos, etc, he was a legit bad offensive coach

main reason why i picked the dubs to win it all at the beginning of the season btw B-)

there was a really good slowmo of him doing that on a jump shot in the game, he got hit on the wrist rose up and then snapped his head back as he released lol

I remember him doing the head snap and then composing himself to lob it to smith for a layup

I still don't know what the hell to make of Harrison Barnes. There's a certain type of athletic swingman who seems like he should be a star but just never gets the usage or seems to even want it. There are definitely worse things than a really athletic dude who shoots 40% from 3 tho.

He's turned into a versatile defender too.

He wasn't shy about shooting the ball (and making it!) in the Memphis series when Klay and Steph were cold.

doesnt seem like barnes really has the creativity to be a big scorer but he certainly is thriving in his current role

he's sort of a Mickael Pietrus/Martell Webster type. Very clearly defined role and won't surprise you but valuable.

imo Barnes is really smart, unlike Darius Miles.

I still think about this game from time to time. Probably the greatest fantasy basketball performance of all time, considering how much of an outlier it was.
