Want to see lebron become the Michael Jackson of the nba

feel like bron has always been a bit of a headcase but in an ambitious socially acceptable style, now that hes starting to see the downside of his career maybe that whole dynamic is souring a bit, his motivation for returning to clevland seems odd and overly conceptual, who knows what the hell hes thinking abt

maybe he was sick of being just one of the guys in miami and wanted another shot at being king james

it's been kinda funny seeing the same ppl selling 'thibs can't get it done in the playoffs' also selling 'thibs actually won that championship, doc can't get it done in the playoffs'.

why you phrase it that way it doesnt make too much sense but irl does

i mean the celtics had an alltime great defense which utilized innovative schemes as thought up/coached by thibs, which have now been adopted league wide, like a lot of defensive geniuses he doesnt coach offense that great tho

not to mention the whole player time management / injuries situation

maybe doc and thibs shd get the band back together, call danny to help them figure out some good players to get

yeah i can buy that it's not necessarily a true contradiction, i'm just wondering how many of these guys after a warriors-hawks finals will go 'see, toldja a 3 point shooting team can't win the championship' and point at whoever loses (humor me).

hawks are a good team but i can't bet against Lebron willing the team into the finals again

maybe im a sucker but i don't think there's a great chance blatt gets axed unless they completely go up in flames in this series

the hawks were only 11-9 in their final 20 games, looked horrible against by far the worst team in the playoffs, could barely beat a team that itself was a mess and whose best player was playing with one hand. i think whatever magic they had during that win streak is mostly gone, it looked like budenhozler was throwing shit against the wall in the wizards series with his end of game lineups.

basically the hawks go to player in the final 2 mins right now is dennis schroeder and for as impressive as he's looked for someone with his age/background i don't think that's getting it done vs lebron and even a one legged kyrie

i would imagine the cavs get smoked by the warriors but i think the ECF is one of those eastern playoff series where you're like "lebron's team isn't very impressive but they have lebron and the other team doesn't"

i didn't see the final two games of the clippers series, can someone explain to me what happened -- i know in game 6 josh smith turned into ray allen but that's about it

clippers looked gassed more than anything, both pretty odd games/weird vibes, neither were yr typical comeback/blowout where the winning team played with xtreme energy and chemistry more like the clippers just shut down, the supporting cast particularly barnes and reddick cldnt hit a shot, kinda an alltime collapse

clippers just being the clippers tbh

u shd consider adopting them as the team u root for in the playoffs in the coming years imo

man you really should just re-watch the second half of game 6, pretty historical moment

basically the clippers saw the light at the end of the tunnel and took their foot off the gas. and when things started swinging back the rockets way the clips got really tight and stopped running their sets. obviously the rockets needed a one in a million performance from brewer and smith to make it happen but still
