i accidentally watched the series finale of doogie howser a few months back one night. his hair was dyed black and he gave up medicine to move to italy w/ vinnie and become an actor.

yeah seriously. i'd just gotten in and was in a stupor and after ten minutes was like 'wait - is this the last doogie howser?', i think there was even a scene where after his goodbye party a rush comes in and he's watching the doctors and nurses scurrying around and is like 'this is not my life anymore'.
