wldve been extremely easy to double bron there and have one player cover two on the weakside considering the time/inbounding location btw

yup

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:23 (eleven years ago)

refs missing blatt clearly calling timeouts he didn't have adds a nice layer of conspiracy to this game

J0rdan S., Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:30 (eleven years ago)

lol blatt my god

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:32 (eleven years ago)

I don't understand how you could argue with jvg. the cavs ran a set after the bulls perfectly burned the cavs remaining time outs.

Oh I'm not arguing and I think we all agree that was dumb and should be fixed

I am just always amused when jvg gets mad about something

juice college (agent hibachi), Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:32 (eleven years ago)

is that a T in the NBA?

Yeah that was horrible, what happens if the coach does that? I forget

juice college (agent hibachi), Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:33 (eleven years ago)

Right I think it's a T, I know I've seen it happen in the last few years

juice college (agent hibachi), Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:34 (eleven years ago)

the buzzerbeaters have been great, but they're kinda masking what is otherwise a pretty godawful series

k3vin k., Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:34 (eleven years ago)

yeah it was an awful game

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:35 (eleven years ago)

neither team can do offense and half the players are dead

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:36 (eleven years ago)

that game was fun you guys are crazy

J0rdan S., Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:39 (eleven years ago)

the offense wasn't great but it was a tight game with some big runs and a bunch of huge shots, dramatic throughout

J0rdan S., Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:40 (eleven years ago)

neither team cracked 40% from the field, half the players were limping, idk hard to care too much under those conditions

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:43 (eleven years ago)

lol hugging

this is insane

J0rdan S., Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:50 (eleven years ago)

im sorry i just feel like basketball is better when the teams playing are good

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:52 (eleven years ago)

i mean any game can be intense or have runs, quality basketball would be nice tho

k3vin k., Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:52 (eleven years ago)

blatt timeout https://vine.co/v/emDlHMqHb1a

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 22:59 (eleven years ago)

That's literally the view from the grassy knoll

--J0rdan S.

idk think it was just a dumb blatt move (one of many) that didn't get noticed

slothroprhymes, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:13 (eleven years ago)

this has def been a fun series but that kind of stems from the inherent parity of two teams not playing their best, rather than them both playing lights out

slothroprhymes, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:15 (eleven years ago)

Cody Westerlund ‏@CodyWesterlund 31s31 seconds ago

LeBron on benefit of free timeout: "To be honest, the play that was drawn up, I scratched it."

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:16 (eleven years ago)

Man he just cannot pass up an opportunity to take a shot at his coach anymore huh

juice college (agent hibachi), Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:17 (eleven years ago)

blatt is such a clown

J0rdan S., Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:17 (eleven years ago)

if LeBron wasn't so weird and crazy I'd dislike him

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:18 (eleven years ago)

as an aside, the league needs to stop this bullshit with coaches waltzing onto the court for timeouts. It's shameless grandstanding most of the time anyway.

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:19 (eleven years ago)

"quality basketball"

J0rdan S., Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:20 (eleven years ago)

I watch about 100000 NBA games a year and this game was def. in the top 10%

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:21 (eleven years ago)

dude come on you watch basketball you know what i'm talking about. the drama is great but two teams failing to hit 40% of their shots leaves a lot to be desired xp

k3vin k., Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:21 (eleven years ago)

you're making up an arbitrary stat that defines whether a game was good

J0rdan S., Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:23 (eleven years ago)

come on

k3vin k., Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:23 (eleven years ago)

you're being willfully dense

k3vin k., Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:23 (eleven years ago)

i was def way less excited by the game tying game winning sequence because both teams played so poorly there were long stretches where neither of them could really dribble let alone shoot thats my experience and i demand you respect it also derrick rose takes comically terrible shots constantly

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:24 (eleven years ago)

i mean most of that game was objectly bad basketball

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:24 (eleven years ago)

i mean it's one thing if it's a true defensive struggle, like maybe the pacers/heat playoff games. but neither of these teams is exactly great on defense. it was just bad offense

k3vin k., Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:26 (eleven years ago)

i'm not being dense i just have a capacity to enjoy a basketball game in which both teams may or may not shoot 40%

J0rdan S., Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:26 (eleven years ago)

"shooting 40%" is obv a surrogate for "bad offense"

k3vin k., Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:28 (eleven years ago)

the offense was very bad its true

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:28 (eleven years ago)

you guys should be forced to watch replays of the rockets-mavs series for the next month

J0rdan S., Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:30 (eleven years ago)

no one enjoyed that series either. the first round was mostly very bad

k3vin k., Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:31 (eleven years ago)

we all agreed the first round was bad except for the spurs-clips instant classic

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:32 (eleven years ago)

it was a fun game, there were also egregiously bad stretches of offense - especially those two bulls droughts

I would still hazard a guess that rockets clippers will end up be a worse game and not just because the rox will almost without a doubt play like garbage

slothroprhymes, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:32 (eleven years ago)

too many injuries in bulls-cavs both teams are totally off kilter

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:33 (eleven years ago)

*being, jeez

slothroprhymes, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:33 (eleven years ago)

also derrick rose takes comically terrible shots constantly

he does it with humility and grit. Not like that little fucker Isaiah Thomas (who makes more of them)

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:34 (eleven years ago)

there was one towards the end of the fourth where he pulled up early in the clock for a long contested three that was totally flat and bricked off the front rim that was just like wow why does he do that

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:36 (eleven years ago)

it was a jr smith type shot except smith is at least a much better shooter and known lunatic

lag∞n, Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:37 (eleven years ago)

games with bad offense can still be fun!!! open your minds
