part of the thing with Austin Rivers is that it's just so hard to see what the talent was. Gerald Green, Byron Mullens, you can see it quite easily.

yeah i mean i'm no basketball expert but i remember watching his mix tapes when he was in HS and thinking he couldn't really dribble. i'm sure some other ppl were low on him too at the time

k3vin k., Friday, 8 May 2015 02:22 (eleven years ago)

I'm an SF Giants fan, so I guess I qualify! Most of what I heard about juice and injury proclivities had to do more with tendons, because you get extra beef muscle from the roids very quickly, but your tendons don't strengthen at the same rate and so are more vulnerable to tears and strains.

kevin love is a fucking baby

Boston Celtics forward Kelly Olynyk and his representatives have continued to deliver word to Love and people close to him that Olynyk wants to privately apologize to him, sources told Yahoo Sports. Olynyk wants to tell Love personally that he never intended to injure him in Game 4 of that series, that he's sorry for the shoulder surgery that'll cost Love six months.

Strangely, Love continues to rebuff Olynyk. He isn't interested in the call, refusing to ease Olynyk's guilt. For now, Love is a spectator to this Cavaliers playoff run, a player who is probably more missed on these Cavaliers now than he had ever been appreciated this season.

simmons on grantland thing tonight: "coming up next we have the goat of women's basketball. literally the goat."
--Clay

it was a good interview tbh, didn't seem condescending or w/e

slothroprhymes, Friday, 8 May 2015 03:23 (eleven years ago)

kevin love is less interesting to me than he ever was

slothroprhymes, Friday, 8 May 2015 03:24 (eleven years ago)

no I didn't mean that Simmons was condescending just calling anyone "the literal goat" is funny.

Clay, Friday, 8 May 2015 03:56 (eleven years ago)

goats r so trending right now

lag∞n, Friday, 8 May 2015 04:01 (eleven years ago)

#wegonnabechampionship (Spottie), Friday, 8 May 2015 04:04 (eleven years ago)

goats are generally amusing it's true

slothroprhymes, Friday, 8 May 2015 04:08 (eleven years ago)

honestly I was more surprised that the interview wasnt condescending given bill's history of casual sexism (although he's certainly improved/moved away from those attitudes in many ways)

slothroprhymes, Friday, 8 May 2015 04:09 (eleven years ago)

having a daughter had to help

polyphonic, Friday, 8 May 2015 04:11 (eleven years ago)

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 8 May 2015 23:56 (eleven years ago)

Clay, Saturday, 9 May 2015 00:58 (eleven years ago)

that shd have been a charge on bron

johnny crunch, Saturday, 9 May 2015 01:05 (eleven years ago)

that shd have been a charge on bron

― johnny crunch, Friday, May 8, 2015 9:05 PM (1 minute ago)

absolutely not

k3vin k., Saturday, 9 May 2015 01:06 (eleven years ago)

charges are such bullshit. there should not be a rule that encourages a defender to stand in the path of a player jumping at full speed. theres been a bunch of injuries this season alone because of it.

micah, Saturday, 9 May 2015 01:18 (eleven years ago)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI5veHFijAk

micah, Saturday, 9 May 2015 01:19 (eleven years ago)

fuck that.

micah, Saturday, 9 May 2015 01:19 (eleven years ago)

i mean the rose thing wasn't even close, he was backpedaling defending a fast break and tried to slide in front of lebron at the last moment. not a basketball play

JD watches too much college, lol

k3vin k., Saturday, 9 May 2015 01:21 (eleven years ago)

head clowning instructor (art), Saturday, 9 May 2015 01:57 (eleven years ago)

k3vin k., Saturday, 9 May 2015 02:01 (eleven years ago)

accidental close up of lebron's hairline above the headband was like looking at images from the mars rovers

Clay, Saturday, 9 May 2015 02:05 (eleven years ago)
