for some offenses it doesn't matter but if you're going to run a really complex set or something that usually requires a lot of passes (like the clips or spurs) then it's definitely an advantage. paul is a genius obv

I think he's a little punchdrunk tbh. It hasn't affected him in the ring but there's a flatness to his affect and he slurs words a bit.

seriously, it's a weird society that perpetuates shit like boxing and mma and football eventually

I loved boxing as a kid but not really interested anymore. But I would probably watch this fight if I didn't have to pay for it. :(

Football has been hard to shake for me but I'm definitely pulling away from it.

I would be fine if football basically became flag football w/weight limits and real juice testing tbh it'd probably 90% as good as it is now and it would be exciting to see Wes welker types have actual careers and long lives

Ray rice thing killed the nfl for me, which is weird I guess, bc it's not like I didn't always know that was the culture. I just couldn't ignore it anymore. Couldn't watch a game without thinking about what was going on at home, what the sport was doing to their minds and bodies. Felt honestly like cheering on murder at the coliseum. So I stopped. I still pay attention at the margins because you have to to be able to converse with men in America m/l, and i watched the super bowl, but shove the rest.

football is amazing but i def have a general wincing feeling when i watch, support banning it, especially for children

i didnt wathc for liek the 1st half of last season but the patriots sucked me back in and by the time of the superbowl i was 100% pychotically on board

I've never cared for college sports, just a huge ethical nightmare, capitalism in a nutshell shit I can't even begin to handle. Also college bball is bad and college football it's like... maybe if I was from the south? It feels like a regional thing (tho obv has infected Oregon over the last decade thx phil knight)

Fell off the NFL for good (so far) hard when the Kaepernick sex scandal happened, but I was already being primed to give it up with the Niners' acting like a typical spoiled and entitled corporation the last few ("few") years.
