following the battle for the 7/8 seed in the east the past few weeks (partly cuz i want the nets in the lottery, partly cuz i want to be able to see someone interesting/entertaining) has really really driven home for me how bad the east is. curious if thibs ends up in new orleans. orlando would be an interesting fit but supposedly billy donovan is going to finally take that job.

I had no idea Blake Griffin had such an awful rebounding season, what the hell is that about? His TRB% has declined every year and is getting pretty fucking bad for a guy with his talent.

be curious if pf defensive rebounding is down across the league since power forwards started playing on the perimeter more and they have to be there to guard them

deandre's been around a while tho... and blake always liked jumpers.

but dre somehow magically got much better at rebounding which like never happens, also blake def takes more Js than he used to

plus blake should have gotten a bump from the minutes he played with hawes, who was also terrible on the boards. idk

yeah im not saying that nothing is going on there just that maybe theres not as much going on as it might seem

also he has short arms, maybe they r getting shorter

I know this has already been addressed but it was 90% contract year deandre cannabalizing rebounds, 10% him playijng farther from the hoop. look at his rebounding numbers this series
