wow ever heard of free speech

lag∞n, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 21:49 (eleven years ago)

I mean that's not free speech so much as it is "lying"

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 22:03 (eleven years ago)

They should address their bench after they remove Doc Rivers' GM authority

― Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, April 29, 2015 3:06 PM (3 hours ago) Bookmark Flag Post Permalink

couldn't agree more. i truly don't understand how doc doesn't take more heat about his team-building. i mean i know ppl on the internet make fun of him, but no one around the league has the balls to call out trading for your own son as blatantly unprofessional?

k3vin k., Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:00 (eleven years ago)

he traded for him AND plays him too much!

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:22 (eleven years ago)

Rivers' GM record is very simply:

-awful FA signings
-trading for his son
-the dudley salary dump fiasco
-first round picks who never played/play
-the bledsoe trade

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:23 (eleven years ago)

talented GMs must shake their head at what he's done with 2 years to surround CP3/Griffin/Jordan. You could give Morey no money, no draft picks and he'd do a better job just with d-leaguers.

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:25 (eleven years ago)

not to mention letting nate robinson walk, one of the only kinda decent bench pieces he's ever had, after two 10 day contracts

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:32 (eleven years ago)

tbf that's blatant nate robinson fandom on my part but ffs he would've done more now than spencer fucking hawes can/is!

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:33 (eleven years ago)

have we talked abt this rondo not getting a playoff share thing? seems kinda dirty even if he did m/l quit on them.

Clay, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:34 (eleven years ago)

it usually comes down to a vote ime

polyphonic, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:35 (eleven years ago)

anyway it's only five games so i think he'll live

polyphonic, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:39 (eleven years ago)

man there's great stuff about lebron and pierce in the simmons/windhorst podcast. did anyone know about how their feud started?

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:43 (eleven years ago)

Mike Fratello says you have to guard Pero Antic beyond the 3 point line

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:43 (eleven years ago)

i have to say the whole digression in that podcast about pierce and lebron has me extremely intrigued about a potential wiz/cavs east final

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:51 (eleven years ago)

I did not know the story and really dug it, kinda crazy it's a fuckin preseason game in 2004

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:57 (eleven years ago)

speaking of podcasts today's BS report with haralabob le flambeur is almost entirely about spurs-clips, officiating, etc, v interesting stuff

slothroprhymes, Wednesday, 29 April 2015 23:59 (eleven years ago)

Lemme guess bob says something like he's not going to say it was fixed but then spends the next ten minutes strongly implying it was fixed

juice college (agent hibachi), Thursday, 30 April 2015 00:02 (eleven years ago)

lol no, but he does bring up the beef between doc and bill kennedy

having gotten into a public twitter tiff with h-bob I am not the biggest fan of his rich person kinda sociopath vibe but he's v smart, respeck where due

slothroprhymes, Thursday, 30 April 2015 00:04 (eleven years ago)

He fought with their coach and literally quit on them in middle of a game I'd be pissed if I were a mav

juice college (agent hibachi), Thursday, 30 April 2015 00:05 (eleven years ago)

I don't get why they hid behind the injury thing and didn't just suspend him. Now they don't have a leg to stand on in hiding behind the player vote and refusing to pay him.

tsrobodo, Thursday, 30 April 2015 00:08 (eleven years ago)

They're not "hiding behind" the player vote. That's how shares are determined.

polyphonic, Thursday, 30 April 2015 00:09 (eleven years ago)

Lol Alan Anderson of all people singlehandedly keeping this from turning into a blowout

juice college (agent hibachi), Thursday, 30 April 2015 00:11 (eleven years ago)

im def into bob's rich guy sociopath thing. if you're gonna be a rich sociopath at least become a basketball nerd.

J0rdan S., Thursday, 30 April 2015 00:15 (eleven years ago)

lol there are def ways to be a sociopath that are a lot more damaging to human society it's true

slothroprhymes, Thursday, 30 April 2015 00:19 (eleven years ago)

HAWKS PLZ JUST END THIS

slothroprhymes, Thursday, 30 April 2015 01:14 (eleven years ago)

are the hawks bad now or do they just not know how to play in the 'offs or what i haven't watched a second of that series and don't plan on it unless it goes to 7

Clay, Thursday, 30 April 2015 01:16 (eleven years ago)

So many 3 attempts

Jeff, Thursday, 30 April 2015 01:17 (eleven years ago)

it's a bit of hangover from that swoon of theirs, bit of unlucky breaks on shots they usually hit, and a surprising amount of brooklyn...not sucking

don't blame you for not watching I watched exactly one full game (1)

slothroprhymes, Thursday, 30 April 2015 01:18 (eleven years ago)

Jarreettt XD

, Thursday, 30 April 2015 01:22 (eleven years ago)

demareeeeeee

slothroprhymes, Thursday, 30 April 2015 01:22 (eleven years ago)

Wtf was that shot from Lopez

Jeff, Thursday, 30 April 2015 01:26 (eleven years ago)

Deron finally benched in crunch time after a couple horrible turnovers and a bad reach in foul after Teague got by him

Dude is so toast

juice college (agent hibachi), Thursday, 30 April 2015 01:28 (eleven years ago)

Ugh Jarrett Jack has never lost that tendency to try to abort a drive and pass instead while he's in the air, so terrible

juice college (agent hibachi), Thursday, 30 April 2015 01:32 (eleven years ago)

Blopez is 100% gassed also Hawks should be ashamed if they manage to give this away

juice college (agent hibachi), Thursday, 30 April 2015 01:33 (eleven years ago)

omg there's portland blood everywhere on the memphis court :/

slothroprhymes, Thursday, 30 April 2015 01:55 (eleven years ago)

I spoke too soon! this is v close now. go blazers.

slothroprhymes, Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:11 (eleven years ago)

amazed by the noncall on that meyers leonard goaltend

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:12 (eleven years ago)

he actually tipped it across the rim

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:12 (eleven years ago)

time to automate that shit, come on

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:12 (eleven years ago)

the universe adjusts itself properly and supports underdogs every once in a while

tbh I think we're seeing underdog luck mostly bc the hoops gods are making up for letting the rox escape the first round

slothroprhymes, Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:21 (eleven years ago)

i give you my personal guarantee ('The Clay Bond') that portland wins this series

Clay, Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:25 (eleven years ago)

reminder that meyers leonard had a 50/40/90 season

k3vin k., Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:38 (eleven years ago)

man gasol is so fuckin good

slothroprhymes, Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:40 (eleven years ago)

he is a genius for real

Clay, Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:44 (eleven years ago)

this is def the most evenly matched they've looked all series both teams playin great

slothroprhymes, Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:45 (eleven years ago)

vince had a vintage putback dunk about halfway through the second and i would like to shout that out

Clay, Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:46 (eleven years ago)

yeah and he had another nice slam just a couple of minutes ago

k3vin k., Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:47 (eleven years ago)

man there's great stuff about lebron and pierce in the simmons/windhorst podcast. did anyone know about how their feud started?

how did it start

lag∞n, Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:55 (eleven years ago)

i remember lebron giving an interview a few years back about how he doesn't really have any rivals and PP is his rival by default. i thought there was mutual respect tho, idk i'll listen to the podcast tomorrow on the plane unlike SOME PPL ITT who are so above podcasts

k3vin k., Thursday, 30 April 2015 02:58 (eleven years ago)

just tell me what is inside the podcasts
