btw let's not forget blake got laid out by danny green in the second half and was getting attention (from a chiro, but still) on the sideline after. could have easily affected his game

The defense is just so so bad. Has reached a level where it's hard to think he's that effective overall.

I do wonder if there's something he could do fitness wise because it does seem to be stamina driven.

if the clippers lose this series their whole offseason is gonna be about how their team has never won shit and if you think blake getting owned by duncan and missing the final shot is going to be forgotten in that discussion you are crazy

cp3 is under contract for 2 more seasons with the clips. if he can't get a ring there he can always go back to new orleans to play with the brow

theres prob no way to really do that w/o firing him, they shd fire him

seems silly to pronounce within an hour of the game ending that a 1st round non elimination game will "loom" over anyone's career, but there is an urge amongst certain type to make these sort of pronouncements. people forget the pronouncements just like they forget the game that was supposed to loom. and yeah it's one of lamer parts of sports talk that people would go "hey that karl malone was pretty good but gm 6 1998 got it stripped *shakes head*"

couldn't agree more. i truly don't understand how doc doesn't take more heat about his team-building. i mean i know ppl on the internet make fun of him, but no one around the league has the balls to call out trading for your own son as blatantly unprofessional?

he traded for him AND plays him too much!

Rivers' GM record is very simply:

-awful FA signings
-trading for his son
-the dudley salary dump fiasco
-first round picks who never played/play
-the bledsoe trade

talented GMs must shake their head at what he's done with 2 years to surround CP3/Griffin/Jordan. You could give Morey no money, no draft picks and he'd do a better job just with d-leaguers.

not to mention letting nate robinson walk, one of the only kinda decent bench pieces he's ever had, after two 10 day contracts
