i mean it cld be with a couple draft picks thrown in and i guess a third team as cleve prob doesnt want any draft picks

any trade would have to be a three team deal because i don't see what the lakers have that would entice the cavs

how much of a reach/longshot is boston taking a run at LMA if he were to leave? that said as i type this, i'm aware it's potentially almost as ridiculous as the #futurelaker stuff...

why do you guys think people want to play for the celtics

i kinda doubt cleve will be seeing any really game changing players coming in a love trade but they shd prob be just looking to add as many solid players as they can around bron and kyrie anyway

I don't see why Love would opt out and not wait it out for the new cap and if that I don't know why teams wouldn't wait a year to avoid losing him for nothing.

he wldnt opt out he wld demand a trade meaning his new team wld retain his bird rights allowing them to sign him to bigger contract when the salary cap goes up than if he left cleveland as a free agent, this is the path to the most possible money if he doesnt want to stay in cleveland xp

you're assuming that any coach is a free agent draw

some def are but idk if its a huge % of the equation, im sure theres been a free agent who just loves one coach before but prob a lot who dont care that much

def riley seemed like a factor in the decision

if every power forward could play center they'd be a lot more valuable

green is more than capable of playing small ball 5 btw, has done it a lot this year and their defense did not suffer. obv he can't guard the gasols or howards for 40 minutes tho

i mostly think any city that has a real winter is gonna have a hard time being a free agent draw except in unique situations

its weird how the media always assumes players want to go home to play, seems like it wldnt actually be the best situation, lot of added pressure/distractions, tho on the other hand its cool to have yr people around, assume players have varying opinions on that

lol yea quite a few cities with good teams have winter. chicago is by far colder than boston

I know love is good and getting him would be a classic buy low strategy but I've definitely soured on the dude after his crummy season and whining after spending a year whining about minny

Plus I'm not that psyched about a guy whose arms pop off like a Lego man when a reedy goofball tugs on them

Obv I will wholeheartedly support him as a Celtic but I actually think hi s destiny is to do another year in Cleveland end that year with a bunch of passive aggressive quotes when they flame out and go hoist threes for an awful lakers team with Russell the following year
