Kawhi is that dude, I'm just SMH at lagoon and Barkley for pinking the clips in this series because y'all are misguided contrariwise and I suspect are unhappy in your lives to adopt such a position

yeah hes great obvs im just feeling a little persecuted by the spurs and kawhi being the latest object of worship for the church of play the right way and meaningless awards, makes me want to run with the devil (clippers)

i don't feel like recent spurs are nearly as play the right way as they've been meme-ified to be idk

idk when I think play the right way I think slowass pacers type teams or like the boring ass utah jazz but such a notion is obviously subjective

i mean the spurs objectively do play the right way and i enjoy watching (they were better last year tho)

right I guess I mean how ppl interpret "the right way" is subjective and in all sports but especially hoops my interp. of that has been "it's boring but it works!" so basically many NCAA teams and shit like that

the spurs are def getting a lot of "the right way" love right now

they always have and always will, of course, but I think they're dynamic and fun to watch in a way that belies such a loaded description and all the easy jokes resulting from it

i most strongly associate "play the right way" with larry brown and those mid-00's pistons teams, brown repeated it like a mantra

obviously truth's age means you can't run it every single game/gotta give your other starters rest too AND raps defense means it has its best chance of success in series against bad defenders but there are y'know a lot of minutes during the regular season and 156 minutes seems like a notably small chunk of time for a lineup that's notably effective
