tbh tho not loving what these first two games are portending for the spurs repeat chances, parker/diaw looking dun

hard to tell if the griz look really good or if the blazers are just at the nadir of their season, hard to feel out how they could look against the spurs in rd 2

they can, but they'd be a significant dog. spurs are just much better

spurs are not that good right now, parker basically out

clips shdve won last night despite duncan turning the clock back

i mean does anyone think the spurs resembled last years team that sliced the whole dang league up prescision style, not that they cant regain their form, theyre just not there right now

They had a rough go in the first round last year too.

yeah if they can survive this round theyll have an easier opponent in the next and maybe itll give parker and splitter time to find their form, having a hard time visualizing this team beating golden state tho, while its easy to imagine them losing to the clips or griz

clips prob the only team with any shot of keeping up w the dubs, tho if its a fast paced series they wont survive via having no bench

its crazy to think that if the clips had just hired doc as their coach and not gm theyd might be champ favs right now

the jared dudley/spencer hawes string of moves might be one of the worst GM sequences of the last 5 years

dudley was bad luck tho. injuries

yeah but like u trade for him he is injured and plays poorly, u know hes injured, then u pay someone a draft pick to take him off yr hands, u cld just like wait until hes not injured anymore idk

there was nothing bad luck about them attaching a first round pick to jared dudley just to ship him out of town so that they could sign spencer hawes to the full MLE and then dudley immediately reverting to form

imagine how much better they wld be with duds!

yea dudley is doing just fine on the bucks & seems happy, he had an interesting interview w/ lowe about the whole situation a while back like just before the ASB

or bledsoe!

i mean if they had kept dudley and he had played as well in LAC as he did this year in mil, with the way redick has played this year that would be pretty fair value

and lagoon you are way blinded by the fact that the spurs look not great because they happen to be playing a WCF-caliber opponent in the first round, yes they are a bit banged up and no they have not looked perfect, and honestly pop has been horrible, but they are playing a great opponent. they were killing the league 2 weeks ago

this reminds me of that year the thunder rolled off 4 straight wins against the spurs and all you guys were saying they got "figured out" or weren't athletic enough, like you guys have heard of this concept of having a bad week right?

they do have problems with super athletic teams!

Spurs are having trouble because (a) key rotation players are playing with injuries (tony and tiago) and (b) the clippers have been a top 3 team since the all star break (c) they played two games on the road. Guaranteeing if the spurs make it out of the 1st round they're gonna murk Houston bad.
