i don't think there's really any precedent for a team with the cavs' defensive rating winning it all. even since everything clicked for them they've been only slightly above average on defense whereas history indicates you need to be at least pretty close to elite.

yeah feel like ive heard stats ppl saying being in the top third of the league is the absolute minimum historically, and its not like the cavs are alltime great offensively

curious to see how brons old man game hold up in the offs, cld get ugly if he tries/needs to force it

like anecdotally, once you start thinking about them individually ... kyrie, jr, love are all minus defenders. bron has slipped on that end if even by choice. mozgov is p good but he's not tyson chandler. i just don't see how they're gonna outscore equally prolific offensive teams like golden state or the spurs, assuming cleveland gets there.

I live in this world and I do my honest to god best to be as blunt and straight forward as possible in our presentations. Fluff is the worst. Luckily I work for people that would laugh at me if I tried to pull some nonsense like that.
