call all destroyer, Friday, 10 April 2015 21:16 (eleven years ago)

i don't think you want to be playing him in the playoffs though (problem solved)

how much of this was a scott brooks problem vs a thabo problem tho. on a team with a real offense it should be less of an issue

k3vin k., Friday, 10 April 2015 21:34 (eleven years ago)

well scott brooks played him in the playoffs so that's a scott brooks problem. not being a playoffs player is a thabo problem.

J0rdan S., Friday, 10 April 2015 21:35 (eleven years ago)

if the hawks played teague-thabo-korver-millsap-horford in the playoffs thabo would get an open look every possession, this is basically what happened with okc too and wasn't a workable offense

J0rdan S., Friday, 10 April 2015 21:36 (eleven years ago)

right i just meant to what extent were his offensive deficiencies magnified due to playing for a coach with a bad offensive scheme

in any event i don't think thabo is underrated, everyone around the league knows what he is and what he does. he gets d
serious minutes from a good coach on a very good team. and his advanced numbers support him being a big plus on defense and a big minus on offense.

k3vin k., Friday, 10 April 2015 21:42 (eleven years ago)

scott brooks is a dummy but idk what coach can get scheme around a non-offensive wing being unguarded in the playoffs

J0rdan S., Friday, 10 April 2015 21:43 (eleven years ago)

jfc now afflalo is down, portland what did you do to offend the gods

slothroprhymes, Friday, 10 April 2015 21:56 (eleven years ago)

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 10 April 2015 22:18 (eleven years ago)

So @24Bazemore took a big basket full of old sneakers - which he signed - to give to kids before game. "Spring cleaning." #ATLHawks

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 10 April 2015 22:30 (eleven years ago)

btw as a percentage of net worth Iverson is way below my average strip club expenditure.

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 10 April 2015 22:39 (eleven years ago)

o man stop the wiz nets game they're dead already

slothroprhymes, Saturday, 11 April 2015 00:16 (eleven years ago)

These minutes muscala's getting with the starters are huge. Think he's gonna be the first big off the bench in the playoffs

Heez, Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:03 (eleven years ago)

celtics won 6 in a row on the road

lag∞n, Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:20 (eleven years ago)

Clay, Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:24 (eleven years ago)

Sometimes I think Timmy is the goat.

#wegonnabechampionship (Spottie), Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:36 (eleven years ago)

harden...

Clay, Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:37 (eleven years ago)

rockets homer announcers make a harden MVP comment every five minutes

Clay, Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:37 (eleven years ago)

That pass from jet was crazy

#wegonnabechampionship (Spottie), Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:38 (eleven years ago)

Clay, Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:39 (eleven years ago)

"Stay tuned we've got the lakers hosting the wolves next on NBA TV" cool

Clay, Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:40 (eleven years ago)

Haha Timmy game winning block and homer rockets announcers calling it a foul

#wegonnabechampionship (Spottie), Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:40 (eleven years ago)

celtics won 6 in a row on the road
--lag∞n

this is making me think they can win a playoff series and that is dangerous

slothroprhymes, Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:41 (eleven years ago)

to make you feel better, the cavs actually got the lead in the 3rd quarter then pulled love and lebron for the remainder of the game so that james jones, delly, and someone named "joe harris" could play.

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:47 (eleven years ago)

oh yea I was watching, I know that they m/l have up

what I'm really thinking is that they could move up a seed and face toronto and that's a total coin flip

slothroprhymes, Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:51 (eleven years ago)

*gave

slothroprhymes, Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:52 (eleven years ago)

i'd really like them to get out of the 7th spot be it up or down

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 April 2015 02:52 (eleven years ago)

memphis can fall from the two to the five seed if they lose to utah in the next couple minutes, the west is so absurd

Clay, Saturday, 11 April 2015 03:14 (eleven years ago)

and san antonio and houston flip flopped the 3 and 6 seeds on that one game

Clay, Saturday, 11 April 2015 03:15 (eleven years ago)

yeah i just saw that. like i knew the west was tight but somehow didn't compute. memphis has the tiebreaker w/ sa apparently. i swear it seems like just a couple of days ago those two were a first round matchup.

balls, Saturday, 11 April 2015 03:24 (eleven years ago)

spurs are about this life

brosario nawson (m bison), Saturday, 11 April 2015 03:34 (eleven years ago)

yeah i was thinking 'spurs don't really need homecourt' and then it's like 'or they could just go grab the #2 seed'. fucking ridiculous.

balls, Saturday, 11 April 2015 03:39 (eleven years ago)

memphis is playing LAC and GS, so they could lose two games and if the spurs win out, yeah theyre #2

brosario nawson (m bison), Saturday, 11 April 2015 03:47 (eleven years ago)

also, the SW division is easily the best in nba. all teams may make playoffs if NO gets in and the best division record is memphis who is 9-7.

Clay, Saturday, 11 April 2015 03:55 (eleven years ago)

brosario nawson (m bison), Saturday, 11 April 2015 04:21 (eleven years ago)

GALLO tho

k3vin k., Saturday, 11 April 2015 05:12 (eleven years ago)

this was taken from some Twitter acct but I forget who:

The ENTIRE NBA slate tonight started and ended in the time it's taken the Yankees and Red Sox to play one baseball game.

Clay, Saturday, 11 April 2015 05:26 (eleven years ago)

in summary: fuck baseball

Clay, Saturday, 11 April 2015 05:27 (eleven years ago)

its the worst sport ever...and I can't stop watching this game

slothroprhymes, Saturday, 11 April 2015 06:07 (eleven years ago)

Wtf

Every summer after the finals I think maybe I'll get into some beisbol then after one six hour sox-yanks slog I'm out

I like the idea of baseball much better than the execution so now I settle for going to 1-2 games a year, half-watching a couple of World Series games, and idly listening to vin scully a few times while puttering

juice college (agent hibachi), Saturday, 11 April 2015 12:19 (eleven years ago)

I feel like I had faith the Spurs would put on the afterburners once kawhi and enough of the squad was really healthy but this is truly ridiculous that they are blasting former contenders and ripping through the standings quite literally at the finish line

juice college (agent hibachi), Saturday, 11 April 2015 12:22 (eleven years ago)

xp vin is the best

I absolutely love baseball but last night it almost killed me

slothroprhymes, Saturday, 11 April 2015 14:16 (eleven years ago)

the spurs are just pouring gasoline on teams and casually dropping matches it's amazing

slothroprhymes, Saturday, 11 April 2015 14:17 (eleven years ago)
