I think it's fine to have players who offer nothing on defense or nothing on offense if they're exceptional and Thabo is exceptional on defense.

paying thabo like ~5% of your salary cap isn't egregious

this is a key pt, i think his presence on court is definitely a liability in the offs. dont want to decrease opp cost of doubling korver or milsap or teague

xp i heard that on the podcast and it sounded like bullshit at the time plus sometimes sedano is annoying (that whole cast is often a shitshow tho usually amin is on pt)

how much of this was a scott brooks problem vs a thabo problem tho. on a team with a real offense it should be less of an issue

well scott brooks played him in the playoffs so that's a scott brooks problem. not being a playoffs player is a thabo problem.

if the hawks played teague-thabo-korver-millsap-horford in the playoffs thabo would get an open look every possession, this is basically what happened with okc too and wasn't a workable offense
