Matt Armstrong, Friday, 10 April 2015 03:45 (eleven years ago)

it's tough cuz he's got what 2-3 years of melo being decent and if they believe in melo as a possible championship leader you can't waste that time developing a teenaged center

Clay, Friday, 10 April 2015 03:46 (eleven years ago)

somehow it worked, it turns out that having big men pass to people cutting to the basket works even in this modern age xp

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 10 April 2015 03:46 (eleven years ago)

"He got all excited afterward. I told him to learn how to make a shot."
-- Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle, describing his response after losing to Rondo in Connect Four

Clay, Friday, 10 April 2015 04:22 (eleven years ago)

great last 5 minutes coming up

k3vin k., Friday, 10 April 2015 04:38 (eleven years ago)

kev what do you think about cj mccollum? he's been coming on in the past month or so.

Clay, Friday, 10 April 2015 04:40 (eleven years ago)

i think mccollum is a nice poor-man's dame. they can use some offense off the bench, he's great for them as a 3rd or 4th guard

k3vin k., Friday, 10 April 2015 04:44 (eleven years ago)

wow that move by curry to evade LMA under the basket

k3vin k., Friday, 10 April 2015 04:45 (eleven years ago)

cj didn't really strike me as a guy who would make it in the league but i've been convinced he can involve into a decent 7th-8th man. he's got confidence if nothing else.

yeah a guy who plays like he belongs on the court and can make his 3s will have a place in the league

k3vin k., Friday, 10 April 2015 04:48 (eleven years ago)

was just about to post that!

Clay, Friday, 10 April 2015 04:58 (eleven years ago)

@bengolliver 17 of Stephen Curry's 45 points in the last 5:16. Outscored Blazers 17-12 by himself during that closing stretch

Clay, Friday, 10 April 2015 05:01 (eleven years ago)

Crabbe's facial hair -_-

Fact known only to Cal peeps: Crabbe was on America's Next Top Model.

A-Hanisi Coates (Leee), Friday, 10 April 2015 05:05 (eleven years ago)

Steph went ham. The trajectory through the net on that last three was perfection.

thabo is bad

― lag∞n, Thursday, April 9, 2015 5:52 PM (Yesterday)

this is so wrong. c'mon goon

Heez, Friday, 10 April 2015 14:46 (eleven years ago)

/checks encyclopedia/ no... no

lag∞n, Friday, 10 April 2015 14:49 (eleven years ago)

he did have a rough start to the season, but his defense was huge during that 19 game run

Heez, Friday, 10 April 2015 14:53 (eleven years ago)

Thabo was bad in the context of an OKC offense where nobody besides KD and Russ could consistently create offense. He's always been a great defender.

tsrobodo, Friday, 10 April 2015 15:42 (eleven years ago)

its... not enough

lag∞n, Friday, 10 April 2015 15:47 (eleven years ago)

he's not "bad". he's a defensive specialist, and a really good one (look at his numbers). he fits in fine on a team that doesn't need offense from him

k3vin k., Friday, 10 April 2015 16:14 (eleven years ago)

a team built like the hawks can probably less afford to lose role players than others

J0rdan S., Friday, 10 April 2015 16:16 (eleven years ago)

hes "bad" at "basketball" being a perimeter defensive specialist is just not enough, there is literally in which its fine to get nothing from one of yr players on offense

lag∞n, Friday, 10 April 2015 16:17 (eleven years ago)

-no situation-

lag∞n, Friday, 10 April 2015 16:22 (eleven years ago)

it's not like he's a liability on offense. the hawks will be fine. prob play a lot more teague and schroeder together.

Heez, Friday, 10 April 2015 16:28 (eleven years ago)

i think zach lowe tweeted something like this will hurt the hawks if they end up playing the cavs because demarre is the only wing stopper now but i only see thabo coming into play in like severe end of game scenarios where every possession is followed by a timeout

J0rdan S., Friday, 10 April 2015 16:28 (eleven years ago)

he is absolutely a liability on offense

lag∞n, Friday, 10 April 2015 16:32 (eleven years ago)

not really in the hawks lineup. he was doing a good job of slashing and playing within the offense. he started out the season missing like all his 3s but got better as he went. anyway i said he's not a HUGE liability.

maybe i should be but i'm not that worried about the cavs

Heez, Friday, 10 April 2015 16:36 (eleven years ago)

he literally cant shoot cant dribble cant finsh

lag∞n, Friday, 10 April 2015 16:40 (eleven years ago)
