ya tend to agree a least a lil

seems to me that Isaiah's post-career tragicomedy has if anything led ppl to underrate his playing days, but I'm just slightly too young to really remember the guy well. all the footage I've seen makes prime look like genius stuff though, barring some famously dumb mistakes against Boston in the playoffs.

zeke was fucking amazing and his third quarter in game six of the 88 finals is maybe the most amazing thing i've seen in an nba finals

Zeke was Iverson with better GMs and less longevity

way way way more of a pure pg than iverson, more of a pure pg than magic even

..... how in the world was he more of a pure PG than Magic?

eh it's close but magic was almost a sg his first few seasons and the last few post-kareem he had to assume more of the scoring burden. magic's my greatest pg of all time but he could play anywhere whereas zeke only made sense as a pg.

I'm not even sure where Nash would rank on the all time point guard list but he's a lock for the hall (no two time MVP is not going in, plus he's an 8 or so time all star) and probably the greatest shooter at the position ever. Retires with the top ft shooting % in history!
