J0rdan S., Saturday, 21 March 2015 13:30 (eleven years ago)

also what kind of person would hit matt bonner in the nuts

J0rdan S., Saturday, 21 March 2015 13:30 (eleven years ago)

Steve Nash is retiring.

All time FT% leader, third all time in assists, two MVPs (and one second place).

polyphonic, Saturday, 21 March 2015 18:50 (eleven years ago)

gotta figure he ends up in the hof

balls, Saturday, 21 March 2015 18:56 (eleven years ago)

Absolutely

Steph def def (Spottie), Saturday, 21 March 2015 19:07 (eleven years ago)

One of my top 3 players for watching all time. Pretty much singlehandedly got me back into the nba about ten years ago.

Steph def def (Spottie), Saturday, 21 March 2015 19:09 (eleven years ago)

yeah nash owned so hard

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 March 2015 19:20 (eleven years ago)

he was on something like 7 of the top 10 offensive effcientcy teams ever spanning two different franchises and rosters

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 March 2015 19:22 (eleven years ago)

nash is a no-brainer HOFer, rip big man you were really cool

k3vin k., Saturday, 21 March 2015 19:40 (eleven years ago)

dude was a sight to behold running an offense. had most impressive pregame warmups out of anyone I've seen in person (along w/KG).

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Saturday, 21 March 2015 19:53 (eleven years ago)

Marcus Smart has to do one crazy thing per season I guess

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 March 2015 19:58 (eleven years ago)

cheap shotting someone in the nuts is hella lame, like i can deal with taking a cheap shot as long as its not designed to injure, i mean we all get upset, but why the nuts thats just so childish

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 March 2015 20:01 (eleven years ago)

Joe Johnson by all rights owes Steve Nash abt $80 mil at least

Clay, Saturday, 21 March 2015 20:06 (eleven years ago)

also never forget Nash at the 2003 all star game press

Clay, Saturday, 21 March 2015 20:06 (eleven years ago)

oops, press day thing wearing a "no war for oil" tshirt

Clay, Saturday, 21 March 2015 20:07 (eleven years ago)

--Matt Armstrong

wasn't the thing he did in college incited by being called a racial epithet? not that the thing last night is comparable, it clearly isn't, smh @ marcus for the latter

slothroprhymes, Saturday, 21 March 2015 20:08 (eleven years ago)

IIRC that's what Smart claimed but no one else heard it.

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 March 2015 20:38 (eleven years ago)

I'm pretty comfortable saying Nash is one of the 3 greatest PGs ever alongside Stockton and Magic.

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 March 2015 20:40 (eleven years ago)

Oscar?

brosario nawson (m bison), Saturday, 21 March 2015 20:41 (eleven years ago)

slothroprhymes, Saturday, 21 March 2015 20:52 (eleven years ago)

Clay, Saturday, 21 March 2015 20:55 (eleven years ago)

its crazy how quickly the position changed to where westbrooks game is standard

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 March 2015 20:58 (eleven years ago)

overrated

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 March 2015 21:41 (eleven years ago)

CP3 is way up there, yeah...

Oscar is a combo guard and also a dinosaur.

ya tend to agree a least a lil

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 March 2015 21:42 (eleven years ago)

seems to me that Isaiah's post-career tragicomedy has if anything led ppl to underrate his playing days, but I'm just slightly too young to really remember the guy well. all the footage I've seen makes prime look like genius stuff though, barring some famously dumb mistakes against Boston in the playoffs.

Moving the goalposts

brosario nawson (m bison), Saturday, 21 March 2015 21:54 (eleven years ago)

zeke was fucking amazing and his third quarter in game six of the 88 finals is maybe the most amazing thing i've seen in an nba finals

balls, Saturday, 21 March 2015 22:29 (eleven years ago)

Zeke was Iverson with better GMs and less longevity

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 March 2015 22:45 (eleven years ago)

way way way more of a pure pg than iverson, more of a pure pg than magic even

balls, Saturday, 21 March 2015 22:55 (eleven years ago)

..... how in the world was he more of a pure PG than Magic?

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 March 2015 22:56 (eleven years ago)

eh it's close but magic was almost a sg his first few seasons and the last few post-kareem he had to assume more of the scoring burden. magic's my greatest pg of all time but he could play anywhere whereas zeke only made sense as a pg.

balls, Saturday, 21 March 2015 23:15 (eleven years ago)

NBA
Rank Player APG
1. Magic Johnson* 11.19
2. John Stockton* 10.51
3. Chris Paul 9.92
4. Oscar Robertson* 9.51
5. Isiah Thomas* 9.26

welp guess we covered the top 5

Steph def def (Spottie), Sunday, 22 March 2015 08:07 (eleven years ago)

it was at the start of a pg tribute vid and i wasnt expecting it. do not recommend.

micah, Sunday, 22 March 2015 08:13 (eleven years ago)

I'm not even sure where Nash would rank on the all time point guard list but he's a lock for the hall (no two time MVP is not going in, plus he's an 8 or so time all star) and probably the greatest shooter at the position ever. Retires with the top ft shooting % in history!

we just form a f#!king wall (agent hibachi), Sunday, 22 March 2015 18:12 (eleven years ago)

4 50/40/90 % seasons!

k3vin k., Sunday, 22 March 2015 20:01 (eleven years ago)
