Guys like that don't really get injured that much anyways. Injury risk greater for bulky guys or leapers.

as far as i can tell when he was drafted he was around 6-11/220-225, so he wasn't exactly lebron or anything. and my concern wasn't about injury risk, it was more skepticism about one-year defensive numbers and the odds of someone that thin being a real interior defender long-term (and again, the fact that he never played offense and couldn't stay out of foul trouble). i was hardly the only sanders skeptic

if we've already said whoever faces dubs in the first round is almost def going down and the only question is how many games it takes, why not let some new blood into the playoffs at least?

(some people might disagree but i always thought even a healthy OKC would still go down in 7 to these dubs)

as for ways to get both OKC and pelis in there (which could preserve OKC longer if they're not against the dubs), mavs and clips both identical in wins & losses and have several current problems, either could run into a bad stretch, the question is can NOLA and OKC keep winning while either mavs or clips fails?

im the thunder bench is p good (excepting the hole at the 2 which extends all the way to their starting lineup) their coach just has no idea how to play to his players strengths/contruct lineups/play the right players

be v surprised if the thunder took 2 off the dubs even with a healthy ibaka, sweep more likely imo

they said ibaka is out 4-6 weeks which would put him on a timeline to come back right at the start of the playoffs

let's not forget what happened last time ibaka was the second option in the playoffs though. i think the dubs defense would really expose him

He was 6'9 in bare feet, these are publicly available measurements.

Even post insanity/injuries Sanders still had absurd DRPM numbers. He was/is a great defender.

You can't really fluke defense for a season, dude just was good.

My conspiracy theory is that kev doesn't like lanky shotblockers who are awkward offensively.

yeah kind of an odd situation where by sheltering their players too much theyre making them allergic to the media where it cld just be nbd and ordinary if everyone wld just chill

One thing I didn't see in those MJax articles: when bogut got injured and Jackson basically called him a pussy and then gave a fiery press conference blaming the media for printing what he said. Great guy!
