I kinda breezed thru simmons trade valu part whatever since u know the trade deadline was a month ago BUT he was otm on one thing- the eerie parallels between the durant situation and KG in 2009 when the celtics kept being like no really he's coming back in two weeks no wait a few days no wait sometime during the playoffs oh wait nevermind

Of course based on the OKC medical history he will be back for four garbage games at the end of the season tweak a wrist or something they'll say he's out for the first two rounds and he'll be back in the first round and then get injured again and they'll get bounced

we just form a f#!king wall (agent hibachi), Friday, 20 March 2015 02:40 (eleven years ago)

simmons dropped him to sixth because of foot worry, lil excessive imho

lag∞n, Friday, 20 March 2015 02:41 (eleven years ago)

Oh he's still probably in the top three or so if you actually made the rankings based on what kind of trade haul would get him, like who would OKC actually consider trading him for in a vacuum, maybe Lebron or the brow

He should really just call the top 20 this season's most compelling NBA players for watching or something

we just form a f#!king wall (agent hibachi), Friday, 20 March 2015 02:44 (eleven years ago)

harden 50 pts
--brimstead

22 at the fucking free throw line lol, noottttt impresseeeeeddd

slothroprhymes, Friday, 20 March 2015 02:44 (eleven years ago)

bron prob shldve been sixth

lag∞n, Friday, 20 March 2015 02:45 (eleven years ago)

durant's this close to the 'should the thunder trade him so at least they get something?' conversation getting truly obnoxious, plus w/ the exception of maybe supposedly washington any team he got dealt to would be in the same spot of 'is he gonna walk' only without whatever loyalty, etc okc has maybe built up. throw in the injury and i could see it depressing his trade value vs how good a player he actually is.

balls, Friday, 20 March 2015 03:32 (eleven years ago)

Now I am drinking because of rodney hood http://i.imgur.com/M8LvkRF.jpg

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 20 March 2015 03:48 (eleven years ago)

If rodney hood has a 30 point second half I will buy all of ILH a round

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 20 March 2015 03:51 (eleven years ago)

what do those dollar amounts mean

k3vin k., Friday, 20 March 2015 03:52 (eleven years ago)

what do those dollar amounts mean

You have a 50,000 dollar budget to spend on your lineup each day and players are assigned dollar value based on their fantasy points per game, adjusted for recency. 5 fps per 1,000 is meeting value.

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 20 March 2015 03:56 (eleven years ago)

Suns vs Pelis is a real barn burner eh

Steph def def (Spottie), Friday, 20 March 2015 04:03 (eleven years ago)

James Harden made more free throws tonight (22) than Rajon Rondo has for the entire season (21)

moullet, Friday, 20 March 2015 07:17 (eleven years ago)

thats crazy

Steph def def (Spottie), Friday, 20 March 2015 07:40 (eleven years ago)

He's like 6'9 235.

Guys like that don't really get injured that much anyways. Injury risk greater for bulky guys or leapers.

― Matt Armstrong, Thursday, March 19, 2015 6:34 PM (Yesterday) Bookmark Flag Post Permalink

as far as i can tell when he was drafted he was around 6-11/220-225, so he wasn't exactly lebron or anything. and my concern wasn't about injury risk, it was more skepticism about one-year defensive numbers and the odds of someone that thin being a real interior defender long-term (and again, the fact that he never played offense and couldn't stay out of foul trouble). i was hardly the only sanders skeptic

i feel the same way about nerlins tbh

k3vin k., Friday, 20 March 2015 16:07 (eleven years ago)

imo if sanders had been a modivated basketball liker there prob wouldnt have been any problem

lag∞n, Friday, 20 March 2015 16:10 (eleven years ago)

durant shut down

slothroprhymes, Friday, 20 March 2015 16:35 (eleven years ago)

lost season for the big man

lag∞n, Friday, 20 March 2015 16:39 (eleven years ago)

barred from "all basketball activities" but not ruled out for a return by presti in a classic act of OKC feet-shuffling

slothroprhymes, Friday, 20 March 2015 16:40 (eleven years ago)

you would think that everyone has learned from derrick rose but i guess not

J0rdan S., Friday, 20 March 2015 16:47 (eleven years ago)

thunder in particularly a tuff spot cause theyre trying to retain durant via winning rings

lag∞n, Friday, 20 March 2015 16:48 (eleven years ago)

might as well shut russ down and get everyone right for next year. let the brow in

Steph def def (Spottie), Friday, 20 March 2015 16:49 (eleven years ago)

otm let russ heal that dent in his face

lag∞n, Friday, 20 March 2015 16:50 (eleven years ago)

daaaamn

k3vin k., Friday, 20 March 2015 16:50 (eleven years ago)

might as well shut russ down and get everyone right for next year. let the brow in

― Steph def def (Spottie), Friday, March 20, 2015 12:49 PM (2 minutes ago) Bookmark Flag Post Permalink

absolutely, a thousand times yes

if we've already said whoever faces dubs in the first round is almost def going down and the only question is how many games it takes, why not let some new blood into the playoffs at least?

slothroprhymes, Friday, 20 March 2015 16:53 (eleven years ago)

(some people might disagree but i always thought even a healthy OKC would still go down in 7 to these dubs)

slothroprhymes, Friday, 20 March 2015 16:54 (eleven years ago)

we need to see westb try to win a playoff series dolo, but also we need playoff brow, maybe mavs cld concede for the good of the league?

lag∞n, Friday, 20 March 2015 16:57 (eleven years ago)

imo a just healthy in time for the playoffs thunder wld be destroyed by the dubs, a healthy all season thunder obvs wld be a higher seed and champ contender

lag∞n, Friday, 20 March 2015 16:58 (eleven years ago)

idk i feel like that will just amplify the atrociousness of OKC's roleplayers (as always, exceptions for the injured and ILH breakout star mitch mcgronkowski) even more than it already has, and oh would you look at that NBA game time informs me kanter has a bum knee and can't play tonight

slothroprhymes, Friday, 20 March 2015 17:01 (eleven years ago)

ya focused dubs D wld prob humiliate solo russ into a 35% shooting series likely better off for him to miss it

lag∞n, Friday, 20 March 2015 17:02 (eleven years ago)

the thunder could win 2 games in that series i think

J0rdan S., Friday, 20 March 2015 17:05 (eleven years ago)

if ibaka is healthy

J0rdan S., Friday, 20 March 2015 17:05 (eleven years ago)

to be fair i shouldnt call kanter atrocious, he can go in the exceptions column (though i've never been as high on him as others)

as for ways to get both OKC and pelis in there (which could preserve OKC longer if they're not against the dubs), mavs and clips both identical in wins & losses and have several current problems, either could run into a bad stretch, the question is can NOLA and OKC keep winning while either mavs or clips fails?

slothroprhymes, Friday, 20 March 2015 17:06 (eleven years ago)

isn't ibaka out for the whole season though?

slothroprhymes, Friday, 20 March 2015 17:06 (eleven years ago)

im the thunder bench is p good (excepting the hole at the 2 which extends all the way to their starting lineup) their coach just has no idea how to play to his players strengths/contruct lineups/play the right players

lag∞n, Friday, 20 March 2015 17:08 (eleven years ago)

be v surprised if the thunder took 2 off the dubs even with a healthy ibaka, sweep more likely imo

lag∞n, Friday, 20 March 2015 17:08 (eleven years ago)

russell will win one game by himself

J0rdan S., Friday, 20 March 2015 17:10 (eleven years ago)

they said ibaka is out 4-6 weeks which would put him on a timeline to come back right at the start of the playoffs

J0rdan S., Friday, 20 March 2015 17:12 (eleven years ago)

yeah i like the thunder bench too, presti really did a good job of upgrading their depth on the low. unfortunately they needed someone to play that harden role and they just completely whiffed on waiters

morrow has been giving them really good minutes lately but that's not nearly enough obv

J0rdan S., Friday, 20 March 2015 17:15 (eleven years ago)

i may be in the minority but i'd still rather see the thunder than the pellies. playoff russ > brow for me

k3vin k., Friday, 20 March 2015 17:16 (eleven years ago)

yeah i agree that the pells don't do much for me as a team. i would like to see brow in the playoffs with a roster that does not look like their roster.

J0rdan S., Friday, 20 March 2015 17:17 (eleven years ago)

otm
