serious question: how to formulate poll? separate polls by position or backcourt/frontcourt? just one poll and take top 5 vote gettas?

honorable mention for dudes like michael finley who had 1-2 all star seasons that they converted into 8-10 solid role player years of slowly diminishing performance

i feel like there's a slew of guys like this that almost made it/made it and quickly dropped off but maintained an overall solid game for several years

To clarify, eligible players did not play in the 2010-2011 season or later.

If a player was third-team NBA, is he eligible?

If a player was an all-star injury replacement, is he eligible?

i would still rather do the future ballot thing. i'm 25, I love watching old games when i can but i just don't know old rosters deeply enough to contribute more than what's already listed itt

If you are voted to or played in all star game, you are disqualified

This HOF does not exclude other democratic actions you may wish to undertake

Just an update: I have received no votes. In the event of no votes, I will pick myself because I invented hall of fames.

this is still a good question. we could do this all-nba style and one per position. or just top 5 votes?

what do we do? still taking noms? stilll have to have been out of the laegue since 2011? i would do top 5 positionless

yeah i think given thats its been some years, some more players would be eligible so we should have more nominations

have to have been retired for 5 years (end of 2012-13 season), no all-star selections or all-nba (all-defense v v obv ok). since its been a few years

other question: do yall want to pick 5 guys and just take top 5 vote getters, or should they be weighted (#1 gets 5 pts, #2 gets 4 pts, etc.) and the top 5 point getters get in?
