Starting to think my rondo fueled optimism was misplaced but Carlisle is kinda notoriously tough to initially play for

if i was rondo i would probably be doing whatever in my power to make the relationship work bc either he stays w dallas (not looking super likely at the moment) or he goes into FA and coming off the string of seasons he's had recently i think his stock isn't maybe so high at present.

he's on his way to becoming a desperation signing and ensuing bad situation for the lakers or knicks

He’s entering FA. And I wouldn’t be shocked if he went unsigned for a few months. Where is Rondo an upgrade? I don’t see him taking a backup role.

it does but i'm also like he got an incredibly wide berth in boston, played at half speed most of this season and for his efforts got traded to a playoff team, and is still finding reasons to be unhappy.

he started out the season great was almost averaging a trip dub for like 1.5 months!

granted with like 5fta over that span

his percentages have been awful all season

hes not you know "a percentages guy"

he was never a 35% ft guy before though

he makes shaq look like rick berry

ya his terrible FT shooting has been fucking w his game for a while, he just avoids contact completely now which is basically death in the nba especially for a guy who cant shoot

his 3pt% is higher than his ft somehow
