After witnessing Brandon Roy's and Greg Oden's career arcs, all I can say is that shit happens and you just learn to live with it. It should be x100 easier for a fan to adjust to this Derrick Rose injury shit than it will be for Rose to adjust. After all that investment of time and effort, his hoops career is now chopped liver.

Starting to think my rondo fueled optimism was misplaced but Carlisle is kinda notoriously tough to initially play for

if i was rondo i would probably be doing whatever in my power to make the relationship work bc either he stays w dallas (not looking super likely at the moment) or he goes into FA and coming off the string of seasons he's had recently i think his stock isn't maybe so high at present.

He’s entering FA. And I wouldn’t be shocked if he went unsigned for a few months. Where is Rondo an upgrade? I don’t see him taking a backup role.
