re: phoenix, they went all in on bledsoe contract-wise so i'm not sure you'd have kept dragic happy under any set of circumstances, so they needed to move him for whatever and miami offered some whatever so they took it. the thomas deal gets them a first rd pick plus a decent guard in replacement. brandon knight is having a solid year, and supposedly can play the 2 so maybe there'll be less difficulty distributing time and positional role among 3 point guards.

maybe phoenix isn't getting hosed in all of this

re: philly getting the lakers pick - if it's still top 5 protected, doesn't it not matter bc lakers are most likely gonna be top 5?

it's top 3 protected in 2016 and...I still think the lakers might be that bad then, it's just not a known quantity like right now

i drew a comic awhile back about Brooks and Glasses and the punch line was brooks putting perk in the game and i am sad it now has no relevance

i think this is the first time i actually have watched mavs w rondo, it is...not great.

i dont think hinkies plan is necessarily bad its just is not vverifiably good yet, if theres something thats particularly sus its drafting non shooters and making them watch ted talks, besides that seems pretty reasonable
