it really is a tragedy that lillard is missing out on the ASG tho, especially considering he'd be a starter in the east without question. obv the league should just do away with conferences but for the ASG at least just choose 24 players and have them pick teams among themselves or something.

i said korver had a case! the hawks have 4 deserving all-stars (only in the context of the east tho, they'd probably have zero in the west), but i just think the need to reward winning teams with all-stars who clearly aren't among the best players is silly. guys like frank isola are yelling all over the radio saying how terrible it is that the thunder have 2 all stars but the grizzlies, who are 2nd in the west, have only 1. so what? conley is a nice player and would probably be an all-star in the east, but he's a top-10 point guard in the west. it is what it is. you can't just go looking for random guys on winning rosters to fill all star squads, it becomes absurd

yeah i don't disagree. positionally i was a little surprised teague got in just bc the pg competition is pretty stiff in the east. but i think he deserves it.

i'm still on the fence about joe tho. he had some of the worst offensive minds coaching him in atl.

i've never had much of an opinion of johnson aside from the general sense that he's a m/l avg player with a really good agent.
