because hes an elite player (WHEN HEALTHY [MOVES SLOWLY])

their frontcourt rotation is fine even if you don't even take into account that durant should get minutes a lot of minutes at the 4 against certain teams

also kd maybe hates jackson, and jackson is playing very poorly, time 2 panic

i feel like thunder really just want a backup center who isn't kendrick perkins

i mean lopez is an elite rim protector and his per is like ~23 over the last few seasons, jackson has shown an inability to blend with kd/westb its a worthy risk imo

ibaka and adams are both centers, plus they have collison and maybe mitch mcgary comes along in the second half enough to give you 6-8 minutes in the playoffs. AND you have durant for small ball.

if i'm them i'm looking to find a 3 and D guy

wilson chandler makes much more sense for them than brook lopez

my deep abiding love for steven adams is well known on this message board but lopez wld be a pretty huge upgrade, and the thunder still wld have no problem going small when the situation demands

they need to find a player better than roberson and perry jones, not one better than nick collison

wilson chandler maybe makes more sense positionally but theres no comparison talent wise, theres no one else the thunder have any sort of shot as whos nearly as good at basketball as lopez

remember when everyone was like "you have to trade klay thompson for kevin love because he's just better"

well the argument that it would open up a hole in golden states line up where one does not exist is not the same as the thunder where you would just be keeping a lineup whole where one already exists, also both arguments fail to consider the possibility of further moves

not to mention the talent gap between those players is not comparable

and team continuity does not seem to be something the thunder actually possess

i reject this comparison

also maybe golded state shouldve traded for kevin love?

except nobody thinks that?

the big 3 heat are the only modern example of amassing talent being enough to haul yourself to a championship
