they have one of the worst starting point guards in the NBA and a coach who has no control over him

I think that's a bit strong

rose is definitely not back to his MVP year levels and he's had a hard time diversifying his offensive production to include threes and other shots outside of the paint but he doesn't seem like clueless w/r/t running the floor and passing

feel like numerous starting PGs inside the east and even outside are far worse than rose by multiple standards. fucks sake, elfrid payton is a starting point guard in the east.

i get the sense that lamarcus doesn't respect blake much but i guess that's just the way it is

what's the deal with nic batum???

but like he seems to take some sort of personal joy in backing down on blake and putting points on his face xp to self

batum is having an off year offensively but that little stretch was surreal

looks like he's grabbing at his wrist, he's been nursing a wrist injury for awhile

he's a terrible defender who chunks up tons of bad shots at a terrible percentage

other than players starting merely due to injury there have been only a couple worse starting PGs this year

I would say Burke, Calderon, Nelson, Payton and Cole are the only worse "true" starting PGs this season, and I'm conflicted about Payton.

evan turner is worse by a significant margin

Rose has played 30 games, his season is what it is at this point and if you want to know what's wrong with the bulls there you go

Calderon has been downright shameful

like they're not my team and I'll shed no tears if they fail in the playoffs, but them, these hawks and the wiz are the only east teams I'd give a chance in hell of making and potentially winning a finals matchup

i have faith that calderon would be back to himself if he were playing for pretty much any other team, but he does seem more like a featured backup these days

Re Blake. There are a LOT of dudes that take the matchup with Blake very personally. Probably cod he acts like a baby

god that blaze effort to keep their possession alive was kinda beautiful even tho it didn't work

Blake relies on that 'jump' shot way too much this year

i wanna say i remember one game between portland and the clips where aldridge had a big game and someone asked him about the matchup with blake and aldridge said something like "he made my job easy tonight." i just like how guys seem to relish beating up on blake.

it's a 30 game sample where he's been legit awful for like 25 of them! I mean he's shooting like 39% and playing no defense and turning it over what can you say.
