got to think dion considering his behavior last year and his avowedly anti team play this year isnt long for this organization

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 15:38 (eleven years ago)

wonder what they cld get for him

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 15:39 (eleven years ago)

assertive jeff green?

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 15:41 (eleven years ago)

can assertive jeff green play the two... maybe?

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 15:43 (eleven years ago)

Dubious

But he might make a good stretch 4 when varajao goes down

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Saturday, 8 November 2014 16:50 (eleven years ago)

yah wld be good smallball frontcourt green-bron-love

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 16:54 (eleven years ago)

feel like he cld play the two tho especially considering theres so little talent there rn its generally not that hard of a defensive assignment anyway, then on O he can take threes and use his size/strength to get to the rim

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 16:56 (eleven years ago)

they say he can guard twos too anyway idk

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 16:57 (eleven years ago)

i don't see it but maybe i guess

call all destroyer, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:06 (eleven years ago)

feel like u guys r thinking of non assertive jeff green tho

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:08 (eleven years ago)

@CelticsHub: Celtics confirm bone bruise and ankle sprain for Marcus Smart. He is expected to miss 2-3 weeks. Celtics dodge major bullet there.

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:08 (eleven years ago)

thank goodness.

idk even assertive jeff is a three or smallball four i think.

call all destroyer, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:10 (eleven years ago)

wldnt require as much ball handling as a typical two either since bron takes care of that

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:10 (eleven years ago)

he played two sometimes in okc iirc

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:11 (eleven years ago)

non-aaertively i bet

call all destroyer, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:11 (eleven years ago)

4 is his best spot tho tbf

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:12 (eleven years ago)

two and three tho are... not that different

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:14 (eleven years ago)

btw bron looked pretty unexplosive and lackadaisical last night from what i saw which was the first half

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:15 (eleven years ago)

was def just settling for whatever the D gave him

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:16 (eleven years ago)

maybe it was his plan to coast through the regular season all along tho

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:17 (eleven years ago)

maybe he concentrated so hard on losing weight he never really got in game shape

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:18 (eleven years ago)

Spent too much time on hair restoration websites this summer

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:20 (eleven years ago)

been in kind of a funk since bosh wouldnt help him move

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:21 (eleven years ago)

Lol

"Cmon man just help me box up some stuff for like two hours...I got like a galaxy note 2 around here you can have. Where you going anyway? Wait...you're staying?"

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:24 (eleven years ago)

two and three tho are... not that different

yeah you have a good point that bron handles the ball a lot, that would be an area of concern for me w/jeff

call all destroyer, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:24 (eleven years ago)

we can all agree that green is the nba player most likely to be traded this year right

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:26 (eleven years ago)

yeah should be

call all destroyer, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:34 (eleven years ago)

btw im coming around to the concept the the celtics shd prob just resign rondo

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:40 (eleven years ago)

re: the bron talk - he looked way better than he has all season thus far in the 2nd half, which I saw when I got home, although def still not at full power

ichabron crames (slothroprhymes), Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:44 (eleven years ago)

xpost I think ainge has always wanted to resign rondo w/all things being equal, but I also think he's long since resigned himself to the probability of RR testing the FA market, assuming rondo wouldnt want to wait around during rebuilding

ichabron crames (slothroprhymes), Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:48 (eleven years ago)

which, can anyone blame him

ichabron crames (slothroprhymes), Saturday, 8 November 2014 17:50 (eleven years ago)

the celtics with rondo cld maybe sign a major free agent or make a trade that makes them relevant, if rondo walks theyre in full rebuilding mode w no end in sight

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 18:05 (eleven years ago)

if the knicks turn out not wanting to make a run at rondo who does? lakers, sacto? the league is so stacked w good point guards

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 18:12 (eleven years ago)

the cavs are loaded at the wing they have no use for jeff green lol

bron looked better to me last night, he had like 10 ast in the 1st half and had a couple of nice defensive plays

k3vin k., Saturday, 8 November 2014 18:26 (eleven years ago)

they literally started shawn marion last night fyi

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 18:31 (eleven years ago)

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 18:32 (eleven years ago)

i mean loaded with players who should probably retire!

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 18:32 (eleven years ago)

(or grow up)

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 18:32 (eleven years ago)

they do not nearly have a starting quality nba 2 guard

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 18:36 (eleven years ago)

Dion Waiters was one hell of a draft pick

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 8 November 2014 21:24 (eleven years ago)

lag∞n, Saturday, 8 November 2014 22:48 (eleven years ago)

Point of emphasis this year maybe?

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Sunday, 9 November 2014 00:34 (eleven years ago)

Nene basically already singlehandedly broke the pacers in the first quarter of this game

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Sunday, 9 November 2014 00:35 (eleven years ago)

chris paul is gonna set an assist-to-turnover record this year

k3vin k., Sunday, 9 November 2014 00:58 (eleven years ago)

Indy maybe? Not sure what they have to move for him though.

Smarf (Clay), Sunday, 9 November 2014 00:58 (eleven years ago)

These Timberwolves black road alternate unis are like a compilation of everything we hate in new unis- v necks! Not really any team colors! Super wide side stripes! Sleeves!

I've been trying to see if the side is the pine tree pattern but it doesn't really come across on TV very well

Big problem with mainly black uniforms is the number of dudes wearing giant knee wraps or straight up leggings makes it look like they're in pants

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Sunday, 9 November 2014 01:00 (eleven years ago)

I think they've had these alternates for a few years I've just never happened to catch them I think
