When Meyers Leonard is open enough to gather and shoot in a smooth motion, he's a pretty good three shooter. It's just that he rarely gets that open a look, cuz he has a slow gather and release and defenses have plenty of time to run at him.

This idea that a 20 pounds lighter bron who isn't explosive and is slower than molasses on defense is just "proving a point" is based entirely on windhorst's PR releases and not any reasonable parsimony.

well we're talking about two separate things here -- the stuff about bron not being able to get to the rim against utah is one thing. the "proving a point" stuff is about how he took 7 total shots in the final three quarters of the portland game

let's move back to more important issues like what we think of these new alternate celtics uniforms

i think they are bad

They're like some JERZEES shit I got when I was in little league

they look like a website from 2005

at least they won't wear them often.

it's the sleeves that ruin it, if you kept the color scheme on regular jersey designs i think it wouldn't be half as bad

it would still be exceptionally bad tho

so many terrible details, the v neck, the dainty weight of the vneck compared to everything else, the weird belt nug, the floating leg shamrock, the color gray, the fact that its gray at all, how sad the celtics backcourt looks wearing it

sad avery bradley is a huge bummer

this season has been mad depressing so far

too much injuries/sleeved uniforms but on the other hand out of crisis comes... possibility?
