feel like the cavs must've known they had a shot at bron when they hired blatt, they had to have been thinking that bron is essentially a coach on the floor so it would be a good way to ease blatt in

yeah i agree, but also it's like, does bron want a coach who's gonna spend two months figuring out how a rotation is supposed to work? who has the authority in the locker room? it just seems like there's so many situations where blatt and bron can undermine each other's authority and create a sense of unease amongst the rest of the team.

Rubio is looking much better so far this year fwiw, but he was pretty inconsistent when Love was there xp

Hayward embarrassed him on multiple occasions and that chase down block was arguably the least embarrassing

This idea that a 20 pounds lighter bron who isn't explosive and is slower than molasses on defense is just "proving a point" is based entirely on windhorst's PR releases and not any reasonable parsimony.
