Can't wait to see Lebron and Love on another team next year

polyphonic, Thursday, 6 November 2014 19:24 (eleven years ago)

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving exchanged words in the Cleveland Cavaliers' locker room following the team's 19-point loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night, and it led to Irving leaving quickly without speaking to the media, multiple sources told ESPN.com

this is going to be fun

I told you all that Lebron should've signed with the Warriors!

Big Orange Machine (Leee), Thursday, 6 November 2014 19:47 (eleven years ago)

Bron will stay in Cleveland but I could easily see either or both of the other two gone

re: Lillard and LeBron. It is hard to believe I live in a universe where anyone cares about tweets a college kid made about a basketball player four years ago. I can only conclude those people live in a different universe than I do.

oh no! must be the season of the rich (Aimless), Thursday, 6 November 2014 19:52 (eleven years ago)

In the words of the great @AaronRodgers12 "RELAX"

moullet, Thursday, 6 November 2014 21:38 (eleven years ago)

this is nice

12. Asked prior to Wednesday’s game if his message got through, James said he didn’t know if guys had read his remarks. “But I continue to preach it,” he said. “And they will get it.”

18. When they got to the film session, James told teammates to stop crowding him in transition. In the loss to Portland, James felt like too many hands were running at him trying to get the ball. James told them to run to the corners, find their spots and give him room to maneuver. If they did that, the ball would eventually find them.

my feeling is that a rookie coach who has never worked in the NBA before prob shouldn't be driving this particular boat

Clay, Thursday, 6 November 2014 21:47 (eleven years ago)

Somehow this boat feels like the orange mocha frappucino gasoline fight car

xxxp Then rodgers went and threw like 4 touchdowns and demolished the bears the next game. so lbj needs one of those 32-9-8-3-2 games for everyone to relax

The Rockets are the 1st team in NBA history to score at least 100 points & allow fewer than 100 in each of its first 5 games of a season.

what's wrong with lebron

Clay, Thursday, 6 November 2014 23:40 (eleven years ago)

He turned into Greg Oden?

Big Orange Machine (Leee), Thursday, 6 November 2014 23:40 (eleven years ago)

What if he had a bad allergic reaction to the hair plugs that didn't stop after the plugs fell out and it is ravaging his body right now

maybe he's just grotesque now who knows really

feel like the cavs must've known they had a shot at bron when they hired blatt, they had to have been thinking that bron is essentially a coach on the floor so it would be a good way to ease blatt in

which is why bron trying to prove a point by not trying is extra bizarre, he needs to be doing precisely the opposite -- he prob has more knowledge of the nba game than any person on that coaching staff

J0rdan S., Friday, 7 November 2014 00:06 (eleven years ago)

Brons film tips made me think of this, neither Kyrie nor Love (or anyone else save the bench mob bron brought with him) has played with anyone even all star caliber before*, never mind a four time MVP, maybe they just dunno what the fuck to do yet and he really does need to tell them GO HERE PASS HERE GET OUT THE WAY HERE for a few weeks before it all clicks

Like maybe someone with a super defined coaching system like Phil jax would have just plugged them all in and had earlier results but remember spo really struggled to put the Miami three together the right way at first and that worked out fine

*i guess depending on what u think of Ricky Rubio but I don't think love thought all that much of him really

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Friday, 7 November 2014 00:16 (eleven years ago)

he's not trying to prove a point by getting humiliated by Gordon Hayward. He's not explosive right now.

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 7 November 2014 00:16 (eleven years ago)

This idea that a 20 pounds lighter bron who isn't explosive and is slower than molasses on defense is just "proving a point" is based entirely on windhorst's PR releases and not any reasonable parsimony.

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 7 November 2014 00:18 (eleven years ago)

Yeah I agree that the proving a point stuff is just cover for him personally having a slow start to the season for the first time ever

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Friday, 7 November 2014 00:19 (eleven years ago)

i still like the 'not taking PEDs' theory

yeah i agree, but also it's like, does bron want a coach who's gonna spend two months figuring out how a rotation is supposed to work? who has the authority in the locker room? it just seems like there's so many situations where blatt and bron can undermine each other's authority and create a sense of unease amongst the rest of the team.

Clay, Friday, 7 November 2014 00:21 (eleven years ago)

Rubio is looking much better so far this year fwiw, but he was pretty inconsistent when Love was there xp

my jaw left (Hurting 2), Friday, 7 November 2014 00:22 (eleven years ago)

Gordon Hayward also is surprisingly a threat to do the chase down block a lot actually so it's not as truly embarrassing as it might seem, wouldn't be such a big deal if it happened in the second quarter of a January game

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Friday, 7 November 2014 00:22 (eleven years ago)

just cool cos the dumb out of context "i would demolish him one on one" quote then the chasedown block into the dunk and then the game winner later after lbj falls trying to guard him. the whole package

no but seriously im not a dick like that (Spottie), Friday, 7 November 2014 00:24 (eleven years ago)

Gordon Hayward is a tough all around player who gets underestimated because he looks more like an ilx regular than a baller.

Hayward embarrassed him on multiple occasions and that chase down block was arguably the least embarrassing

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 7 November 2014 00:31 (eleven years ago)

xp and he has the name of a 55 year old middle manager
