solid 71-69 final score in grizz v bobcats tonight

Clay, Sunday, 2 November 2014 02:22 (eleven years ago)

xpost to be fair the celtics made 1 out of 27 three attempts so it wasn't just bradley but he tried a bunch and they were all bricks and a half

james young looked more natural on the court than p much anyone on the team and he only got like 4 mins of garbage time play and I think 6 points

in more enjoyable news the lakers just blew a 10 point lead against golden state in Q2 so not all is lost

I feel like the Jazz were just finally the team we saw in the preseason.

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 2 November 2014 08:21 (eleven years ago)

I have no explanation for that inbounds play gif, what in the world

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 2 November 2014 08:22 (eleven years ago)

So Sac come away 2-1 having opened against the Dubs, Blazers and Clips (Boogie with 34-17-5-3). Hate to jinx it but they've actually looked pretty cohesive in those games.

tsrobodo, Sunday, 2 November 2014 23:24 (eleven years ago)

Clay, Monday, 3 November 2014 03:07 (eleven years ago)

I bought into klay about halfway through last year when he made the jump and kept improving.

no but seriously im not a dick like that (Spottie), Monday, 3 November 2014 03:12 (eleven years ago)

Ha I remember legit wondering what the dubs would do when they would inevitably have to decide between klay and Harrison :/

no but seriously im not a dick like that (Spottie), Monday, 3 November 2014 03:13 (eleven years ago)

Clay, Monday, 3 November 2014 04:54 (eleven years ago)

how can you blame anyone for hoping a disease of the game would go away?

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 3 November 2014 05:02 (eleven years ago)

Klay smash was nice. And yah that inbound play was no good.

no but seriously im not a dick like that (Spottie), Monday, 3 November 2014 05:05 (eleven years ago)

xpost wade is a detestable wangbag who has no knees. you can't expect a dude who needed to be rested 29 games to be effective at all to serve as the anchor of yr franchise.

sidebar: who has worse knees - amar'e or wade?

and also pointsman, octopi don't bark (slothroprhymes), Monday, 3 November 2014 12:20 (eleven years ago)

Amar'e no question

, Monday, 3 November 2014 12:25 (eleven years ago)

Ya. Wade is still effective when he plays at least.

don't we have this conversation every year? and it always ends the same way (wade breaks down at the end of the season)

J0rdan S., Monday, 3 November 2014 15:21 (eleven years ago)

Feel like he might be showing out the first couple of games given the media talk over the year

Like prove that he's not 1) washed up 2) can function without Bron

Bosh is the big story for me on the Heat tho

, Monday, 3 November 2014 15:31 (eleven years ago)

Yup Wade is still really good but he inevitably sputters out and gets worse and worse as the season goes along

He just can't hold up over 82 games and especially long playoff runs when defenses key in on him anymore

I can't imagine he will be s real threat by the spring since now any playoff opponent can put their best wing defender on him instead of Lebron

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Monday, 3 November 2014 15:34 (eleven years ago)

I'm not that surprised Bosh is coming out strong though I still think he can be a #1 option for a fairly competitive east team, he basically spent the last four years saving some wear and tear by being the third option and they played four or five out and ditched offensive rebounds so far less banging inside than when he was the man in Toronto

Also he's never had any real injury problems beyond the time he missed a couple playoff rounds a few years ago iirc
