speaking of lakers and idiots.. the lakers radio home station is the worst shit in the world.. if you guys dont want these updates let me know because it gets fucking old..
either way mychal thompson (father of klay) has been predicting the lakers are capable of 48 wins this year. FOURTY FUCKING EIGHT. when pressed on this this morning one of the co talking heads was like "dude the over under is 31 and Im having a hard time taking the over.. you still think theyre capable of 48?" then this dumb motherfucker responds 'well thats only if theyre healthy.. if they can stay healthy they can win 48'
insane

there's a part in that simmons/bob/lowe thing where simmons asks bob how much he'd pay to buy the hornets, that leads to simmons uttering "how much is it worth to you to be anthony davis' owner for the next ten years" and it's, uh...
― Clay, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 19:41 (eleven years ago)
well he does work for the lakers whats he gonna say xp
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 19:46 (eleven years ago)
I wouldn't dismiss him so easily, he's also said that Klay is getting a max.
― Tantivleee Mucker-Maffick (Leee), Tuesday, 28 October 2014 19:47 (eleven years ago)
everyones saying that!
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 19:49 (eleven years ago)
max klay is totes happening whether it should or not
― Clay, Monday, October 27, 2014 1:27 PM (Yesterday) Bookmark
even me even i'm saying it
― Clay, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 19:50 (eleven years ago)
klay should get a bledsoe type of deal
― no but seriously im not a dick like that (Spottie), Tuesday, 28 October 2014 19:51 (eleven years ago)
klay kind of has the "wait you didn't trade me for kevin love so i assume that means i'm worth a shit ton of money" leverage
― Clay, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 19:52 (eleven years ago)
yeah warriors are stuck their cap situation means theres no way to replace him if he took someone elses max offer
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 19:58 (eleven years ago)
not that it wld be easy to dig up someone as good as him even if they could
lol not trading for love man wow
Klay is 100% getting the max either from GS or someone else
Scarcity at the 2 and he will be in the window to lock in a smaller max before the new TV money makes everything go krazy

― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:10 (eleven years ago)
what, klay is totally getting a huge deal from golden state that's why they didn't trade him
thats what everyone is saying
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:12 (eleven years ago)
im kinda feeling an everything goes wrong type season for the thunder idk
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:13 (eleven years ago)
i didn't pick this but i really really think the warriors can make a run at the west finals
they won't toe to toe with the spurs two years back in their first ever series and i think if they were healthy last year they would've beaten the clippers in the first round
and all of that was with marc jackson
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:13 (eleven years ago)
i think okc wld beat the cavs tho cause the cavs cant play D
i'm picking lebron to win every title for the next three seasons basically
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:14 (eleven years ago)
that bballbreakdown video from the other day has me pretty bullish on gsw's offense being up there with the elites
― Clay, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:15 (eleven years ago)
im gonna make some really crazy predicts
wcf warriors > clipsecf bulls > cavsfinals warriors > bulls
mvp steph curry
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:15 (eleven years ago)
bogut is such a question mark though and w/o him they're basically boned around the rim / guys can abuse steph up top xp to me
― Clay, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:16 (eleven years ago)
yeah bogut is utterly key
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:17 (eleven years ago)
yeah they need bogut to be healthy
they have festus back this year too he's extremely bad at offense but he's at least a better back up big than what they had last year
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:17 (eleven years ago)
dubs shd put him on a severe duncan style minutes/games restriction imho i tihnk i said this already
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:18 (eleven years ago)
the bulls look really good on paper but i'm just very very skeptical of their ability to beat a great offensive team in the playoffs
if it's them and the cavs in the east finals i think it's 4-1/4-2 series
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:19 (eleven years ago)
celtix > sixers
― am0n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:19 (eleven years ago)
every team should probably put their guys on minutes restrictions xp
― Clay, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:19 (eleven years ago)
like if you're blatt and you're playing lebron more than 32-35 mpg in the reg season i think you are a nutty person
― Clay, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:20 (eleven years ago)
bogut was pretty healthy all last year and didn't play heavy minutes just happened to break a rib at the exact wrong time.
― no but seriously im not a dick like that (Spottie), Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:20 (eleven years ago)
i dunno how many teams in the west can really afford to do that
pop is no doubt ahead of the curve on resting players but i don't think people appreciate how unique of a situation he's in on so many levels (star players take less money so their depth is exceptional, unparalleled job security, immense respect of players owing to tenure etc)
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:20 (eleven years ago)
i'm not sure if kerr in his first year trying to revamp the office can just ice bogut for a third of the season -- the difference between home court in the first round and the 7 seed is like 2 games

they have the pieces to be a good enough offensive playoff team this time imho, whether or not thibs can put the pieces together idk, really too bad they didnt get melo
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:22 (eleven years ago)
yeah ownership buying in isn't gonna happen everywhere
and like with portland's bench they can't ride lamarcus for 35mpg etc xxp
― Clay, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:22 (eleven years ago)

yeah it was fluky but still just his injury history generally
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:23 (eleven years ago)
bron shouldn't play as much as he did last year but i dunno how much blatt can rest him -- they have a lot to build there and their back up wings are all 85 year old guys who shouldn't be playing much either
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:23 (eleven years ago)
rosebutlertajmelonoahthis wouldn've been an amazing team to watch come together
― Clay, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:24 (eleven years ago)
i mean he should be relied on way less than he was with the heat last year and the cavs are def afforded that opportunity because of kyrie and love
but it's not like you want to be throwing mike miller, james jones and shawn marion out there every night either
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:24 (eleven years ago)
feel like the warriors cld afford to rest bogut if their offense is as good as people are expecting they can shoot a lot of bad/mediocre teams out of the gym
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:24 (eleven years ago)
there's a guy on Michigan State named Lourawls 'Tum Tum' Nairn
― polyphonic, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:26 (eleven years ago)
i respect that
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 20:27 (eleven years ago)
Sounds like he's named after Lieutenant Rawls from The Wire, nice.

man no one believes in stan van gundy huh
― blood on the peaves (slothroprhymes), Tuesday, 28 October 2014 21:20 (eleven years ago)
i believe in stan and think detroit will be better than last year!
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 21:20 (eleven years ago)
i think stan van is good but i think he really needs a year to turn that roster over before we're talking playoff contention
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 28 October 2014 21:20 (eleven years ago)
i don't really want to watch brandon jennings and josh smith and greg monroe play basketball ever much less together
― Clay, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 21:22 (eleven years ago)
someone will prob want to trade for josh smith hey why not everyone loves josh smith for no reason
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 28 October 2014 21:23 (eleven years ago)
