The thing that disturbs me most about the tape is that Sterling mainly seems to be upset because others in his circle were giving him grief for his mistress associating with black people. If he succeeds in dragging this into court, he could hang onto the franchise for years. Otherwise, he's out of there as soon as the owners can vote on it.

sounds like he's contemplating a lawsuit to allege the nba is driving down the current market value of his franchise. theoretically, that's a potentially viable claim that he might be able to bring outside of the nba's constitution.
