idk the west teams play way more west teams and the east teams at way more east teams. In theory the west is beating up on each other and the east is inflated by playing the bucks and sixers three or four times apiece. indy might not win 50 games if they had to play the spurs and rockets and clips every time they had a road trip.

the east is a race to the bottom, depending on whether it's general incompetence, injuries, or sheer tanking. it's like that little league baseball episode of South Park

no one's really paying attention to the nuggets (with good reason) but Kenneth Faried has become a real scoring threat. I assume the defense is still terrible but this is promising stuff.
