he's being pretty thoroughly outplayed by Mahinmi tonight. Can't grab a rebound unless it falls right in his hands, getting owned by Henry fucking Sims on defense. xp

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 01:30 (twelve years ago)

Yes Henry Sims shooting a blistering 3-10.

Call me Shitmael (CompuPost), Tuesday, 18 March 2014 01:31 (twelve years ago)

Bynum looked good against uh, the Pistons, in that his knees seemed very limber and capable of lateral movement

OTOH he was whining after like every no-call

, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 01:33 (twelve years ago)

everyone looks good against the pistons. i would look pretty good against the pistons.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 01:35 (twelve years ago)

i do not think i would look good against the pistons.

Daniel, Esq 2, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 01:36 (twelve years ago)

no daniel you would look fine against the pistons

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 01:37 (twelve years ago)

Yeah I mean it was more to locate when I last saw him play, not commenting on the quality of his play beyond the fact that he looks healthy

, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 01:37 (twelve years ago)

he looked great against the celtics in his first game back

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 01:38 (twelve years ago)

no daniel you would look fine against the pistons

― call all destroyer, Monday, March 17, 2014

haha, okay okay

Daniel, Esq 2, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 01:39 (twelve years ago)

Yeah I mean again Bynum/Turner are being asked to play 20 JV minutes and shoot at their first decent look, both of them exceeding expectations right now, just want everyone to stay healthy for the playoffs. If Bynum/Mahinmi can carry 24min/game in the playoffs, Pacers would be looking good.

Call me Shitmael (CompuPost), Tuesday, 18 March 2014 01:54 (twelve years ago)

Yes Henry Sims shooting a blistering 3-10.

Sims: 9-11-3, 1 TO +8

Hibbert: 9-5-1, 3 TOs -6

great stuff!

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 01:55 (twelve years ago)

#BenchHibbert

Call me Shitmael (CompuPost), Tuesday, 18 March 2014 01:59 (twelve years ago)

love you forever for that hashtag

Daniel, Esq 2, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:01 (twelve years ago)

Hovita Tisci ‏@KTGoesA_Wall 59m
Not wit his Life Alert knees. RT @Clevlanddd: Andrew Bynum Finna take Hibbert spot.

Call me Shitmael (CompuPost), Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:09 (twelve years ago)

Jefe Wit The Ramen ‏@JefeRaps RT -- “@ThatBiracialGuy: The word I'm hearing is if Hibbert doesn't contribute in the playoffs, they might keep Bynum and trade Hibbert.” hmmmmm

hmmmmm, indeed, jefe wit the ramen @jeferaps

Daniel, Esq 2, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:11 (twelve years ago)

hibbert really doesn't rebound well huh

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:23 (twelve years ago)

he is a wilt/russell combo for the 21st century

Daniel, Esq 2, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:25 (twelve years ago)

Nah, but the thing is that they're one of the top rebounding teams in the league-- West/Lance/PG pick up a fair amount per game. Think Lance leads all guards in rebounds.

Call me Shitmael (CompuPost), Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:26 (twelve years ago)

yeah west is a tank

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:27 (twelve years ago)

yup

Daniel, Esq 2, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:27 (twelve years ago)

It's like the same for his scoring-- his numbers are pretty bad, but he's basically the fifth option out there. When his number was called vs. the Heat in the playoffs, his offensive game was fine.

Call me Shitmael (CompuPost), Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:28 (twelve years ago)

that's cuz he was gulliver in the land of the lilliputians

Daniel, Esq 2, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:29 (twelve years ago)

MIA/IND is gonna be so nutty again this year, really can't wait.

Call me Shitmael (CompuPost), Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:31 (twelve years ago)

for sure

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:31 (twelve years ago)

mismatch this year. it'll be compelling, but mostly for the "challenger finally overcomes the champ" storyline.

Daniel, Esq 2, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:32 (twelve years ago)

Pacers still so full of shook ballhandlers that Heat's pressure d will keep them even.

Call me Shitmael (CompuPost), Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:34 (twelve years ago)

eh. heat defense has been a step slow and broken far too often this year. maybe they can "flip the switch" in the playoffs, but that's more wishful thinking than anything else, at this point.

Daniel, Esq 2, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 02:38 (twelve years ago)

Daniel chill they have a .703 record and wade barely played before christmas, let the games play themselves

Clay, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 03:18 (twelve years ago)

daniel's paranoia and deprecation knows no end

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 03:22 (twelve years ago)

Faried's iso and postup offense has come a long way, he might be a star after all

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 04:35 (twelve years ago)

Ty Lawson with the rare 5-point play.

Hit the three while getting fouled by CP who immediately got a tech for arguing the call.

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 05:16 (twelve years ago)

Faried / Blake tussles were fun

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 05:16 (twelve years ago)

Loved hearing from Mutumbo too. Could listen to that guy talk all day.

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 05:20 (twelve years ago)

kyrie's out two weeks, so basically the rest of the season

Clay, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 06:50 (twelve years ago)

, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 07:27 (twelve years ago)

Prob closer to the Oakland A's 'Bash Brothers' Jose canseco and mark McGwire tho

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 07:32 (twelve years ago)

Good call, that's before my time

, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 07:33 (twelve years ago)

Nicknames for 2+ players are obviously classic, what are some other ones? Can only think of Twin Towers atm

, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 07:34 (twelve years ago)

Spottie, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 07:35 (twelve years ago)

This is bananas

, Tuesday, 18 March 2014 07:55 (twelve years ago)

ha the defense in this game essentially boils down to "vaguely put a hand up while turning your head to look at the basket to see if the ball goes in or not"
