That Sun was REALLY committed to getting that rebound so as not to let that xover go to waste.

My Life with the Thrillho Kult (Leee), Friday, 24 October 2014 00:31 (eleven years ago)

Mathew Klickbait (Spottie), Friday, 24 October 2014 01:07 (eleven years ago)

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:35 (eleven years ago)

5.6/10

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:36 (eleven years ago)

im just gonna come right out and say this a lot of people wont like it but its got to be said a lot of supposedly sick crossovers just lead to step back jumpers so whats the point really if you took a step back that means you were well defended a far as im concerned

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:43 (eleven years ago)

yeah agree the best crossovers lead to layups or smashes. however any time someone falls to the ground or goes tumbling based on a crossover is still cool.

Mathew Klickbait (Spottie), Friday, 24 October 2014 02:51 (eleven years ago)

Well my #1 crossover of all time (like a lot of folks) is AI on MJ which led to a stepback jumper

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:51 (eleven years ago)

i... know

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:52 (eleven years ago)

I think a stepback jumper is a pretty good outcome esp if they tried to put someone bigger on the ball (like MJ on AI)

There are three elements I consider 1) elegance of the move 2) reaction of the defender 3) outcome (made shot or layup or w/e)

In this latest gif only 2) is present and it's pretty exaggerated

Hence the low score

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:53 (eleven years ago)

I weigh 1) pretty heavily which is why I don't like Kyrie his handle is ungly imo

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:55 (eleven years ago)

the reason guys end up taking jumpers is often the crossover itself puts the ball handler way off balance and unable to drive to the hoop, you could say they

crossed themselves over

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:55 (eleven years ago)

yah i only posted it because cunningham died and is in heaven b/c of the crossover

Clay, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:56 (eleven years ago)

the running out of bounds is very primo dont get me wrong

stepback j is basically a shot anyone can get any time

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:57 (eleven years ago)

Maybe but for example Steph is very good at this and he's always perfectly balanced after the cross xp

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:57 (eleven years ago)

I think good handlers don't drive after the cross because they are afraid of the shotblocker (unless you're AI)

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:58 (eleven years ago)

Help defense is really good in the NBA these days too

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:58 (eleven years ago)

good elements i can agree to those. making the shot def important

Mathew Klickbait (Spottie), Friday, 24 October 2014 02:59 (eleven years ago)

steph is different cause stepbacks are good shots for him

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:59 (eleven years ago)

In conclusion all I want of a good cross is for the move to be beautiful

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:59 (eleven years ago)

bledsoe gets a really really wide open three there, he just missed it, he is mortal

Clay, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:59 (eleven years ago)

one of my favs didn't result in a stumble but resulted in stepping into a spot where he could get the shot up

Mathew Klickbait (Spottie), Friday, 24 October 2014 03:00 (eleven years ago)

its a wide open three but its a harder shot than a catch a shoot wide open three or even a wide open pull up three

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 03:01 (eleven years ago)

Yeah Steph has my favorite handle in the league rn

hah GP's teeth out smile is so great, love that reaction

Mathew Klickbait (Spottie), Friday, 24 October 2014 03:04 (eleven years ago)

stephs handle is very good but what makes it look great is that you have to guard his shot so tightly, like his ball skills arent in the same conversation as chris pauls

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 03:04 (eleven years ago)

Yeah obv if you have to play a guy tight like Steph to protect the shot you're gonna get shook

shook ones part 30 xp

Mathew Klickbait (Spottie), Friday, 24 October 2014 03:08 (eleven years ago)

CP3 actually kinda reminds me of Nash in the way that he can just sort of maintain a very steady speed w/ the ball while changing direction

, Friday, 24 October 2014 03:09 (eleven years ago)

yeah paul and nash (rip) are on another level imho just like psychologically they understand how to control the defense w their dribble

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 03:11 (eleven years ago)

Yeah Nash never had a sprint like Rose but he never had to go slow either so in the average he was very fast

, Friday, 24 October 2014 03:12 (eleven years ago)

timmy hardaway has at least five in here that are 8.5/10
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0HRPIu02Xo

Mathew Klickbait (Spottie), Friday, 24 October 2014 03:13 (eleven years ago)

Rose has an okay handle but if you give him an inch he turns on the jets

, Friday, 24 October 2014 03:13 (eleven years ago)

The UTEP two step is like my 2nd favorite move all time (after AI's cross)

, Friday, 24 October 2014 03:13 (eleven years ago)

yeah hardaways the crossover og xp

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 03:14 (eleven years ago)

nash could just work the court and get to whatever position he wanted in the key and then everyone else would either cut or find an open spot outside the arc

Mathew Klickbait (Spottie), Friday, 24 October 2014 03:14 (eleven years ago)
