This is the real thing for me there's no reason every game tonight should be trash just bc they all have one or two lottery teams

I still like the idea I saw from someone in hockey proposing something like: once a team is eliminated, every win is worth more lottery entries so the incentive is at least to be the best worst team

Don't tell me nerlens Noel wouldn't be out there in two weeks smashing on the bucks if a bunch of lottery odds were on the line

i'm interested in hearing thibs talk (at some point) about basically morphing his offense into being run through joakim at the top of the key

he's really been an incredibly precise passer, though

it's pretty brilliant though if you can swing it. boozer gives them enough spacing that if joakim has the ball at the top of the key the defense never has any rim protection. they just backcut you to death.

yeah all otm, interesting move by thibbs considering hes usually thought of as a pretty conventional offensive coach

i wonder if part of it isnt just the weirdness of the scheme throwing teams off, like if they had a moment to consider it they could figure out how to exploit his weaknesses to defend that situation better

yeah the key is probably to stay home on all the shooters but no one seems to be doing that and noah is just finding whoever is open

yeah i think the bulls are gonna have the same (offensive) problems as always once the playoffs start

maaaan remember how fun nate nate was in the playoffs last year?

yeah there were def a few offensively capable supporting guys the bulls if theyd held onto theyd be in better shape right now

yeah belinelli & nate were ballers

that's why i'm not buying the "no one wants to play the bulls in the playoffs this year!" line because as good as they've been since the ASB i still think this year's team is worse than last year's

it sort of makes no sense how the bulls have a horrible team offense yet in each of the last two years they've had random bench guys become full-on offensive revelations
