I thought nique was really funny and insightful on Simmons podcast and those comments don't seem super butthurt to me- of course he is a little "we played real D in the 80s" about stuff like that but mostly I think he's just on the kd MVP train

Nets started 2-2 then fell off the table. Now they are 29-29. The only thing not credible about that Twitter is the very notion of the Nets over .500. That strains credulity for sure.

The delay of game for touching the ball after It goes through the hoop mystifies me

Teletovic was cutting under the basket just as a shot went through and he instinctively caught the ball as it dropped at his face and immediately handed to the ref- stopping the inbound play to signal the violation took longer than any delay he could have caused

I guess they were trying to stop guys deliberately punching the ball away to give themselves time to get back on d but let's shave down a few replay and tv timeouts first yeah?

i think they didn't want guys stopping teams from pushing back on offense real quick after a make? just holding the ball for half a second can let your teammates get back on defense that much.

A faster game is a more interesting game, so I'm on board with the new rule, too.
