I only saw the second half, but the Lakers played manic defense, not exactly under control, but throwing themselves around like madmen, while the blazers looked like all their passes were sluggish and their shots all looked rushed. It was the 'right' outcome tonight, but the Lakers still aren't any better than their record indicates and the blazers played much worse than normal.

god the ball sounded so good going through the net on lebron's shots tonight. dude wasn't even hitting rim ever. i'm gonna dream of the net ripping that cleanly tonight.

if kd wins this year it'll be the least objectionable but its still lebron's cmon. with the amount of time wade has missed and how old the heat supporting cast is, he's carrying them most nights.

kd is having a monster season tho i kinda feel like maybe he has actually had a better year than bron just on the basis of bringing it every night where bron has coasted, brons ceiling is still obvs higher tho

i wouldnt be surprised if kd is actually just the better player by the end of next season

Sometimes I feel like there should be multiple MVP-type awards, like one for best player on best team, and one for a Dragic-type situation where someone massively exceeds expectations and turns a written-off team into a playoff contender.

he said that he wouldn't really give love and harden mvp consideration because they're both "DHs." he said "if you're gonna get an MVP vote i need you to play both ways" or something to that effect

i mean cp3 is obv still better but he's missed a lot of time and when he went out blake completely elevated his game
