btw i totally just tossed together that list of forwards without really thinking abt the rankings v much and mostly just put paul george up high due to the received wisdom that he made a huge leap this year which i totally have not looked deeply into because the pacers and heat are the only non-garbage in the east

but im glad i finally drove a kevin love-shaped wedge btwn jord and lagoon

for the record i think k love is excellent and creeping up the best players in the league list and will totally enjoy him as the power forward of the 2016 celtics but i do hope he's just saving his energy to play defense then

i also like my mvp candidates to take a team to the playoffs sometime in their careers but i know twolves are a special basket case

of course bron dragged larry hughes drew gooden eric snow and mike brown the FINALS as a 22 year old but hey

fwiw i of course think you guys are wildly underrating aldridge. like bosh over aldridge seems pretty bizarre to me but maybe bosh is underrated a lil in my mind b/c he's stuck playing third banana

I think people (myself included) sometimes give Bosh too much credit for the hypothetical star he was becoming in Toronto.

Like I think I conceded to Jord a couple years ago that Bosh was better with the Heat than Rodman was with the Bulls and I'd like to officially revoke that statement

not looking good for the Knicks

bosh is a better defender than LA imo and has also taken his shot further out

i'm in the building for knicks/warriors tonight btw. a perk of working across from MSG is sliding over right at game time and strong arming scalpers

there's not a huge diff b/w bosh & LA tho, i'd be surprised if either team's record was marginally different if they had flipped teams at the beginning of the season

aldridge is having a monster season and is v good but for their careers i like bosh more, iirc u have been less than the wholehearted aldridge supporter at times clay

bosh over rodman is unfathomable tho

also never forget bosh roamed on some of the worst defenses ever

i have no recollection of that discussion btw

iirc u have been less than the wholehearted aldridge supporter at times clay

yeah i've never considered him a #1 guy, but his pick and pop game with lillard is maybe the best non-dirk stuff i've ever seen from a big dude. he's really upped his game this year, he's like 6th in scoring and 7th in rebounding right now. career highs across the board and his minutes have dropped. i wouldn't support a straight up bosh for aldridge trade at all and don't think you'd find too many people who would.

jermaine has been playing really well for a couple weeks now, it's been pretty impressive xp
