this is the head dunkhttps://vine.co/v/MmWmgwEAiB9
― Spottie, Saturday, 22 February 2014 05:19 (twelve years ago)
lol thank you Spottie. btw that dunk didn't count because it was considered offensive interference by the knicks
― Nhex, Saturday, 22 February 2014 05:20 (twelve years ago)
ahhaha thats crazy

didn't see the okc heat game but one of the many things I've always hated about D Fish is how he runs through screens like a dickhead and then plays the "what, who, me" card.
― Spottie, Saturday, 22 February 2014 05:26 (twelve years ago)
Matt are you on board with Ish Smith? He's a cool player, seems like the kind of dude you would be into. Maybe you already said something about him can't remember.

yeah he's really cool. He makes some amazing defensive plays in transition.
― Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 22 February 2014 05:29 (twelve years ago)
super quick
These highlights aren't all amazing but that block/save after the minute mark is awesomehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nkk_EGorxLg

blazers scrub drafted in second round of 2012 draft iirc. he's a terrible chucker who won't be around in a couple years but he'll always have that 360º in-game dunk i guess.
― Clay, Saturday, 22 February 2014 05:54 (twelve years ago)
haha cooler than anything I'll ever do no doubt

the cavs have a better record than the knicks now, how is that possible
― le goon (J0rdan S.), Saturday, 22 February 2014 15:21 (twelve years ago)
i don't even mean in a grand sense of "the knicks are a preeminent franchise" etc but how in this season did they manage to fall behind the cavs, wtf is going on over there
― le goon (J0rdan S.), Saturday, 22 February 2014 15:22 (twelve years ago)
ya its a mysterious lol
― lag∞n, Saturday, 22 February 2014 17:33 (twelve years ago)
i'm still in disbelief how they could fall so far in a single season
― Nhex, Saturday, 22 February 2014 17:46 (twelve years ago)
didn't they somehow win like 55 games last year
― Clay, Saturday, 22 February 2014 18:29 (twelve years ago)
(54 I looked it up after all) that's a lot of games though
― Clay, Saturday, 22 February 2014 18:30 (twelve years ago)
NBA Legion @MySportsLegion - Danny Granger is interested in signing with the Heat, wants to be bought out from the 76ers.
lol poetic justice? not sure this would be a good move for the heat, but i guess if they get granger and cut tony douglas, they'd still have room for caron butler if he's bought-out by the bucks?
― Daniel, Esq 2, Saturday, 22 February 2014 19:35 (twelve years ago)
predicsh: spurs will sign caron butler if hes bought out
― rhyme heals all goons (m bison), Saturday, 22 February 2014 19:37 (twelve years ago)
v possible. miami and san antonio seem to be the two destinations always mentioned when a quality player shakes-free.
― Daniel, Esq 2, Saturday, 22 February 2014 19:38 (twelve years ago)
headline: bad player seeks to ride coattails on good team
― call all destroyer, Saturday, 22 February 2014 19:40 (twelve years ago)
haha. caron's not bad.
― Daniel, Esq 2, Saturday, 22 February 2014 19:40 (twelve years ago)
he's stuck in a bad situation now, that's for sure.
― Daniel, Esq 2, Saturday, 22 February 2014 19:41 (twelve years ago)
spurs need sf depth bad tho. maybe a C, but they play smallish a lot.
― rhyme heals all goons (m bison), Saturday, 22 February 2014 19:41 (twelve years ago)
caron is a spurs type, too. play wing for d and 3's and thats it.
― rhyme heals all goons (m bison), Saturday, 22 February 2014 19:42 (twelve years ago)
Caron's toast y'all are crazy
― Spottie, Saturday, 22 February 2014 20:18 (twelve years ago)
he couldnt play 10-15 minutes a game as a reserve?
― rhyme heals all goons (m bison), Saturday, 22 February 2014 20:38 (twelve years ago)
Sure he could play. Like Richard Jefferson can play.
― Spottie, Saturday, 22 February 2014 20:55 (twelve years ago)
oh lol my comment was referring to granger but either way really
― call all destroyer, Saturday, 22 February 2014 22:09 (twelve years ago)
basically is he better than austin daye?
― rhyme heals all goons (m bison), Saturday, 22 February 2014 22:38 (twelve years ago)
slightly
he's gonna give you some real uninterested defense though and will definitely take some bad midrange shots that he has no business taking anymore just because he remembers the days when he was a 20 ppg scorer
― z-time champion (agent hibachi), Saturday, 22 February 2014 23:45 (twelve years ago)
pop will bench him for that, bet
― rhyme heals all goons (m bison), Saturday, 22 February 2014 23:48 (twelve years ago)
ok wait i had to look up austin daye because i couldnt really remember him and whatever tuff juice has left is definitely better than that dude but dont expect much. he'd probably be fine for 10 minutes a game as a backup sf whose job is to just run between the corners and spot up particularly if a decent/ball-dominant pg is running things
which who is the spurs backup point? oh yeah patty thrills yeah he would be fine if him and manu are eventually just the whole second unit offense
― z-time champion (agent hibachi), Saturday, 22 February 2014 23:49 (twelve years ago)
i luv patty thills, filled gary neal role so good
― rhyme heals all goons (m bison), Saturday, 22 February 2014 23:51 (twelve years ago)
spurs have guns, need some wariers now
― rhyme heals all goons (m bison), Saturday, 22 February 2014 23:52 (twelve years ago)
so tyson chandler's head committed offensive goaltending? so confusing!
also i thought that bouncing the ball off the backboard to yourself like james johnson did was illegal? or used to be? i guess it's nominally a shot attempt, or maybe this rule changed? i remember t-mac doing it in the all-star game since everything is legal in that game

i am much less surprised by the 13-14 knicks' floundering than i was by the 12-13 knicks relative non-floundering
― brimstead, Sunday, 23 February 2014 00:30 (twelve years ago)
that's right hibachi, at least as far as the commentators could figure. i've never seen this happen though, where it actually hits his head and bounces OUT of the rim, before even going all the way through the net
― Nhex, Sunday, 23 February 2014 00:31 (twelve years ago)

Mike Woodson confirms that the Knicks are negotiating buyouts with Metta World Peace and Beno Udrih.
― Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 23 February 2014 00:40 (twelve years ago)
A little surprised they couldn't do something more with Metta. Udrih wanted a trade, I guess nobody wanted him.
― Nhex, Sunday, 23 February 2014 00:55 (twelve years ago)
Udrih was actually a good player last year, maybe the food in New York is too good
― Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 23 February 2014 00:58 (twelve years ago)
i'm sure that's also Felton's excuse

he's not good, either. 33 years old*, ~46% effective fg% (which basically means he shoots a ton of long two's and misses them), and a negative OWS. some of that might be a function of playing for the bucks but dude is way cooked. he misses about one in four games with minor injuries.
(* as a 33 year old it's pretty rough to right this down as a major negative, but butler relied pretty strongly on his athleticism throughout his career).
― Clay, Sunday, 23 February 2014 01:47 (twelve years ago)
lol right/write hey everyone i never graduated from college
daniel never met a has been he didnt want on the heat, surprised were not still getting that eddy curry newsleter
― lag∞n, Sunday, 23 February 2014 02:44 (twelve years ago)
man are the Knicks toast or what
― Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 23 February 2014 02:45 (twelve years ago)
hawks had lost 8 in a row and were without Millsap (also they're "battling" the knicks for the 8th seed)
