didn't see the okc heat game but one of the many things I've always hated about D Fish is how he runs through screens like a dickhead and then plays the "what, who, me" card.

Matt are you on board with Ish Smith? He's a cool player, seems like the kind of dude you would be into. Maybe you already said something about him can't remember.

blazers scrub drafted in second round of 2012 draft iirc. he's a terrible chucker who won't be around in a couple years but he'll always have that 360º in-game dunk i guess.

i am much less surprised by the 13-14 knicks' floundering than i was by the 12-13 knicks relative non-floundering

that's right hibachi, at least as far as the commentators could figure. i've never seen this happen though, where it actually hits his head and bounces OUT of the rim, before even going all the way through the net

Mike Woodson confirms that the Knicks are negotiating buyouts with Metta World Peace and Beno Udrih.

A little surprised they couldn't do something more with Metta. Udrih wanted a trade, I guess nobody wanted him.

Udrih was actually a good player last year, maybe the food in New York is too good

he's not good, either. 33 years old*, ~46% effective fg% (which basically means he shoots a ton of long two's and misses them), and a negative OWS. some of that might be a function of playing for the bucks but dude is way cooked. he misses about one in four games with minor injuries.

(* as a 33 year old it's pretty rough to right this down as a major negative, but butler relied pretty strongly on his athleticism throughout his career).
