the other thing that sucks is you can't change the font size in your phone by doing the expander finger thing

k3vin k., Thursday, 30 January 2014 18:18 (twelve years ago)

I don't consider myself to be particularly averse to change but I can think of tons of sites I immediately stopped visiting following a layout change/upgrade. Would love to see some stats on that kind of thing impacts traffic.

this sounds stupid

k3vin k., Thursday, 30 January 2014 19:34 (twelve years ago)

I wonder how today's game would change if they got rid of the three pointer

polyphonic, Thursday, 30 January 2014 19:40 (twelve years ago)

I've been to SLC a few times and I can't really argue with DWill's take. Park City is nice tho.

yeah i used to live there and it's a dull isolated place. if you're into skiing it's great for that. the mormons are pretty rabid about basketball though as they all grow up playing at church.

lance and lowry snubbed.

rip the east, tho, just look at the disparity in quality on those rosters

Clay, Friday, 31 January 2014 00:20 (twelve years ago)

Kevin Pelton ‏@kpelton 5m
Joe Johnson (14.9) is the 2nd All-Star chosen by coaches with a below-average PER since 2003 (Luol Deng, 14.1, 2012).

lag∞n, Friday, 31 January 2014 00:22 (twelve years ago)

lance did def not get any sort of snubbed, lowery on the other hand

lag∞n, Friday, 31 January 2014 00:23 (twelve years ago)

Good for Milsap. Well deserved

Heez, Friday, 31 January 2014 00:23 (twelve years ago)

Joe Johnson 7-time all-star lol why not. Lowry ultimately snubbed but criminal that Lance clearly the better all-star game baller, wish Hibbert could bow out and give his spot to Lance.

there's no way that Royce White is the worst first round pick ever. Probably not in the top 50 worst.

Gawker got absolutely nuked when they did it, I don't know how quickly/if they fully recovered.

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:11 (twelve years ago)

I mean leaving aside any thorny issues of whether the rockets handled him well or whether It turned into a fight unnecessarily or w/e but ... dude has logged 0 nba minutes

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:12 (twelve years ago)

Haha Bennett checking in reminded me why they scheduled these sorry teams for a national game, one is the Knicks and one had the #1 pick in the draft last year

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:14 (twelve years ago)

like luol deng, joe johnson is also a "creative scorer"

le goon (J0rdan S.), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:14 (twelve years ago)

remember when brooklyn was gonna destroy the league and now they have one all-star and it's joe johnson and no one thinks he deserves it

Clay, Friday, 31 January 2014 01:16 (twelve years ago)

Btw the dragon is tearing it up vs pacers league pass alert 21 pt first half

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:19 (twelve years ago)

I never remember anyone saying Brooklyn would "destroy the league." I did figure they'd at least win the Atlantic though!

Burt Stuntin (Hurting 2), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:19 (twelve years ago)

I was p high on them! Tbf they lost their best player and d will was just bad and kirilenko is probably their fourth best guy and was out for a long time

Also Jason Kidd is just a dumpster fire of a coach

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:21 (twelve years ago)

Obv they weren't going to destroy the league but it was reasonable to think they'd be just a few ticks behind the elite spurs-pacers-heat tier maybe in with Houston and other pseudo contenders

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:23 (twelve years ago)

nets were a fairly popular preseason pick to come out of the east

Clay, Friday, 31 January 2014 01:25 (twelve years ago)

like for challoppers who didn't want to pick miami or indy nets were the go-to

Clay, Friday, 31 January 2014 01:26 (twelve years ago)

LIKE ME

le goon (J0rdan S.), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:28 (twelve years ago)

kyle lowry didn't make the ASG cuz he's an asshole, that's really the explanation

le goon (J0rdan S.), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:28 (twelve years ago)

his own coach prob didn't even vote for him

le goon (J0rdan S.), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:28 (twelve years ago)

i have a pretty hard time getting upset about any of the "snubs" in the east, none of those guys would really be in the conversation if they played in the west

k3vin k., Friday, 31 January 2014 01:42 (twelve years ago)

didn't the suns already beat the pacers this year?

indiana does not want to face phoenix in the nba finals.

Daniel, Esq 2, Friday, 31 January 2014 01:46 (twelve years ago)

pacers r like rully scared fer sure

Burt Stuntin (Hurting 2), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:50 (twelve years ago)

they should be suns have figured them out

Daniel, Esq 2, Friday, 31 January 2014 01:51 (twelve years ago)

dry and dusty, but the retirement-home has some fine cuisine.

Daniel, Esq 2, Friday, 31 January 2014 01:53 (twelve years ago)

With the NBA trade deadline just three weeks away, the rumor mill is about to go into overdrive. For the fans who live for scuttlebutt, it'll be a great time. For the players whose names are heard along the grapevine, it'll be an unsettling month.

In speaking with several league executives and agents this week, here are some of the things I was told: It's not unanimous, but most executives I spoke with think Chicago will go after Carmelo Anthony in free agency.

hehe

Gross

Who was that big man from Spain that Orlando drafted a while ago who kept promising to come over and then backed out or something?

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:55 (twelve years ago)

I would be happy to see him and his salary go except that I know nothing good will come of it as long as Jimmy D. is running the org

Burt Stuntin (Hurting 2), Friday, 31 January 2014 01:56 (twelve years ago)
